I bought a new Toyota 4/24/24. So far my experience has been great. I havent bought a new car in 8 years and was very nervous about it. The salesman ********************************* was awesome. Answering my questions, working with me on price I wanted to pay and I didnt feel pressured. If you go there ask for him.

Sun Toyota is slacking the service for my car was a disappointment I brought my car in for an oil change at a 7am appointment and didn't get out there until 10amThey had to order a part for my car and said it would be there Friday this was on Tuesday I made an appointment for Friday 8am the advisor who had supposed to order the part but never did .Now I was truly disappointed in them because I had already paid them. We were very pleased with Sun Toyota. Tommy chose was very experienced. He was interested in what we wanted which was important to us. He was never pushy. Very patient and his follow up is amazing. I would highly recommend using him if purchasing a car, his recommendation was outstanding, and I am very happy.

I never been so disappointed with Toyota into now, my girlfriend and I closed a deal and trade in our vehicle and after coming to the dealership the next day to sing contract they told us the payoff quote of my trade in was more than the amount they thought. After we took the car home and had everything in our name, policy, registration etc!!So what happened then? They "tried they best" in putting us in a other car, but the price was way up.. mind you before fixing my issue they was trying to sell my girlfriend a car on top of the issue we was having.. that's when we asked for our car back and made NO DEAL WITH THIS PEOPLE AT ALL. Before making a deal make sure you guys check twice before being in a hurry to make a SALE. I rather go to another dealership before coming here again.

Very poor service at Sun Toyota dealership in Holiday Florida. I made an appointment for routine service on my vehicle on a Tuesday morning and ended up waiting just under four hours before my car was ready. I arrived at 9:10 and wasn't done until 1pm. I was told when I checked in, it would be roughly 90 minutes to complete the service however it took over twice that long. And I had nothing special done. The service was completely routine. I definitely will not be going back there and would not recommend that place to anyone.Larry Beller

Run in the other direction whenever possible!!If you're in the market for a used car, you may have been swooped into the salespeople's schemes. They advertise their used inventory at such a low price, only for me to be hit with these ridiculous fees that Sun Toyota deems mandatory. The prices I found were on CarGurus. I was looking at a Camry, and they had plenty of those cars on the lot to test drive.While having a dealer certify the car, it's a good thing. However, Sun Toyota expects you to pay for their costs with no chance of taking them off the total out-of-the-door price. They wanted $4k for their "Sun Protection Plan," to which their stupidity thinks I would pay that AND that Toyotas are the most reliable vehicle on the road. No one in their right mind would pay for such a thing.Although Austin, the relationship person, was trying to sound sympathetic, days and weeks later, he continued to pressure me to come back to go to the dealer without me trying to work out a deal. He said I HAVE TO BE BACK AT THE DEALER TO MAKE A DEAL! Hello? It's 2023, there's text, there's email, etc, and I have a say in what I would like to pay, especially in a market where historically speaking, have prices of cars have been inflated. Car values are going down. Now mind you, I had to drive over an hour, east of Tampa, to get to their lot. So why would I go back and forth without having the opportunity to stake at negotiating?Even after some back and forth when I had another gentleman in a white jacket (can't remember his name), he vaguely explained the breakdown of the fees that were being charged. He beat around the bush, making this a very confusing process. This is an example of predatory dealers that ought to go out of business for these kinds of practices. He didn't make it make sense to me someone who isn't all too familiar with buying a car. He was talking in his car salesman language. Like the non-tax fees, I didn't even know what I was going to be paying.Toyota is the best, most reliable brand. But I would you take your money elsewhere than this crazy, ego-filled dealership called Sun Toyota, that would rather charge you for unnecessary fees and tactics to finesse your pockets for theirs. Don't fall for them.

It's been a little over a year since we bought my wife's RAV4 from Sun Toyota. I left them another review regarding the sale process and honestly I beat them up a little. Their recovery from, not a bad sales process, but slightly less than stellar, was awesome. I would not hesitate for a moment to return and buy from them again. Let's not digress though.This time and the last time there, a few months ago, was for routine service of the car. Both times were awesome, 5 star experiences, from the moment the porter/attendant greeted me, till finishing up with signatures after everything had been completed. Mike Rinaldi was my service advisor this visit and the guy is great!These guys are on point! My compliments to the leadership of the dealer for putting it all together and putting the right people in the right positions. Poor service, or a poor sales experience is usually indicative of poor leadership. Anyone considering Sun Toyota for your purchase, if you can find the right car on their lot, you surely won't be disappointed doing business with these fine folks.

Bought my truck here. The sales guy says "cant do any better than that" after he's lowered the price once. Then after 3 more times lowering it he says it again. Don't believe when they say that's their best and final it isn't. It never is. They also scam you with the sun package which was $3,000 but they lowered the car down $3,000 but all the sudden it's back to market price because of the package they "can't take off" even though they can. It's a dealer they can do whatever they want. Overall I love the truck I got. Just don't care for the scams of packages that include things like nitrogen air and rain-x for your windshield. For $3,000. Work on taking that "standard fee" off its by far the highest I've seen.

Went in to purchase a 2005 Tacoma listed on the website at 15,712 and the salesman Eduardo tried to charge us 28,000. Salesman was very rude and condescending when we told him the website price

I rarely if ever write reviews but I could not help myself but to warn others of the Sun Toyota Service Department. I have brought my truck there numerous times and the last 3 times, it is the same thing. Charge me a ton of money but don't fix the problem. The last repair this week is the same one that I have now brought back 4 separate times. Their "Service Technician's" (i.e. Mechanics) just don't know what they are doing and if you bring it back with the same problem they give it to the same person who couldn't fix it in the first place. Talk about the definition of insanity. Save yourself time, money and the hassle and go somewhere else and if you find an honest service center, please leave a note here as I am sure countless Sun Toyota customers will flock the them.

The Manager of new Car sales is Dishonest and do not care at all about Disable Veterans or Seniors, regardless if he got family members in the Service, if it is true. Around 3 months ago we got to an agreement and he was not about to honor it, with the excuse of decrease in the market for used vehicles buy out. I was told by both ( salesman and Manager), that the worst it could happened is, that I get a better deal. That was not the case and he try to insult my Intelligence. As a College graduate and do not take that very LIGHTLY and as a Veteran even less. Is bad enough that they did not give me the $500 discount that APPEAR on the website. Veterans should always get a discount and that is not going to brake them, because is a Tax Deduction at the end of the year. So, I stop him right then and there and told him he was a lier, very dishonest and a man that do not have a Word or Integrity, so I was done. If it was not because of my salesman that a few years ago bought the last Highlander from him and he went and try to CONVINCE him, I would not buy the 2023 Sienna Hybrid XSE. AS A MANAGER AND SUPERVISOR THAT I WAS, FROM THE ***** FORCES, I THINK HE SHOULD BE FIRE OR DEMOTED, IF YOU WANT ME TO COME BACK BEXT TIME, BECAUSE I CHANGED MY CARS LIKE EVERY 2 YEARS. ********************* DID GREAT AND FOUGHT FOR US. THE OTHER PROBLEM THAT THEY HAVE AND HAD TOLD THIS DEALER AND OTHERS, THAT WHEN I COME TO BUY A VEHICLE, I WANT THE MAX OUT THE **** PRICE FROM THE GET GO OR I WILL WALK OUT. I DO NOT LIKE THOSE GAMES AND I WAS A CAR ****SMAN IN CALI AND DID NOT LIKE WHEN THEY DID THAT TO MY POTENTIAL BUYERS. I FOUGHT FOR MY LATIN PEOPLE AND EVEN IF I LOST THE **** AND THE COMMISION, I TOLD THEM TO GO TO ANOTHER DEALER, SO THEY DO NOT TAKE THEM FOR FOOLS. FINANCE AT YOUR PLACE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND THERE IS NO REASON THEY SHOULD ALSO **** YOU OFF, SPECIALLY IF YOU WERE TO WALK OUT AT FROM THE BEGGINING. I had a great experience with Sun Toyota, Holday, Fl.Mr. Billy Mattull was my advisor and he took the time to explain the process to me. Got an oil change and tire rotation, plus an explanation for a greenlight of a car appearing in my hybrid instruments.Their knowledge and personable traits will have me as a customer for a long time. Thanks for your help. Joseph kremsky Within two hours, they were completed with everything and I was on my way. Other dealers, I spent four to five hours for the same service.
