IF AAA sends them refuse them, send them back and demand another company. Wish I could give no stars but oh well. Granted I cant just leave a general review for the who damn company. And yes it took 4 months but I was told " I'm talking to the manager" by my ex and SHIT has been done. Back in November, I called AAA due to the front driver side ball joint cracking on my 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe, causing it to be stuck in a sprouts parking lot. THERES A RECORDED PHONE CALL WITH AAA stating it was the ball joint. They send Petes tow.....They sent a flat bed when we told them how the car was stuck. so a second fork tow truck appeared. Both drivers had to whisper to each other in the trucks, I didn't like that, they needed to tell me what was going on. Their first attempt to get it out failed and almost ripped off my front bumper ( I have the video which I'm gonna try and upload but basically the fork truck lifted the back end, they wrapped a chain around the tire that had the ball join crack and tried to pull it out that way). Then after getting the car next to us to move, they used the fork to grab the bad tire, swing it out of the spot. My tire was straight before they started, it was at a 40-45 degree angle when they were done, like sticking out from under the car, i actually hid behind something think it was gonna pop off. ANYBODY I tell this to says they should of put it on rollers and moved it, but the first tow guy made a point to say " its too much work". No waiver was signed stating " they were relieved of an damage that occurs during the tow" or something along those lines which again, most people i know say that should of been done along with a description of the damage prior to them touching it. They transport the car and we get a repair bill for little over $1200 to fix both ball joints, the axel THAT THEY RIPPED OUT and a magical leak that didn't exist till after they touched the car. so we called our tow guy, he took pictures of the car prior to putting on his truck ( which is something idiots 1 and 2 should of done ) and fixed it. When brought to triple AAA's attention, they spoke to the truck drivers who denied it... SHOCKING and proceeded to say the damage was caused by our tow truck guy......... SOOOOO HOW DID WE GET AN ESTIAMTE FROM PETES TO REPAIR ALL THIS DAMAGE THAT WASNT EVEN THERE WHEN THE CAR WAS AT PETES??!!! (minus ball joint) Are you guys psychic?? Did you guys magically know what damage would of happened by our tow truck guy and gave us an estimate to fix the damage ? Can you guys see into the future? Later it was discovered that the tow truck guys from PETES admitted to causing more damage to get more money, that's why normal procedure wasn't followed ( disclosed that to our tow truck guy which I get it is he said she said but from how idiots 1 and 2 were whispering to one another I sensed that very quickly, even more since it was a simple ball joint issue ). NEVER have I dealt with such slime balls in my life. GREASY PIECES OF SHIT that tried ripping me off and then wanna say " your tow truck guy caused all that damage". Our tow truck guy followed normal procedure, documented damage prior to him loading it, took pictures and everything (the photo of the axel on the floor, AT PETES, was one of his photos). But you guys provided an estimate to fix damage that wasn't even there till out guy touched it apparently. Again must have a crystal ball in your shop or something.

He showed that my battery was down to 3% and he recommended a new one. Now I feel confident that I will be safe on the road. 10 outta 10 for me. Well done Brian...well done Thank you Linda V

Either incompetent or dishonest, not sure which. Cheap AAA battery went bad less than 2 yrs old, still under warranty. Battery was reading 9vdc and needed to be jumped. Verified bad by tester at an auto parts store. Vehicle putting out full charge voltage. Battery was reading 6vdc in our garage when AAA sent out someone from this place, who put his equipment on it and declared that it was OK, and that he was unable to replace it under warranty. There is no way this battery was good. He tried to tell us the vehicle wasn't driven enough, when it is driven 2 - 4 times a week. The guy did not even have a replacement battery for it with him. So Pete's Towing was able to bill AAA for the call and do absolutely nothing for us. Worst of all, the guy wrote in his call report that he was abused and had to leave, when we only got aggravated and expressed our frustration at being told a demonstrably bad battery was good. This caused another contractor to refuse service out of caution. We never made any personal attacks or threatening statements to this tech. Horrible service, avoid at all costs.

They have very impatient drivers for this tow company. On a Sunday afternoon going in and out of traffic riding up on cars bumps rushing, so rude I would never recommend this company to anybody in Pasco County.

This place is great and very trustworthy. I just moved here and AAA recommended this place. I am so glad I took my vehicle to Pete's auto repair shop.

Toyota would not start, called Pete's & got fast tow service. Repair was completed, bad starter, & all done in under 24 hrs. Mike was very personable & professional in handling the situation. Was a bit surprised that all fluids from oil to radiator were replaced as well as air & oil filters. I did not request these items and the added cost was very profitable to Pete's!!

Working with Pete's has been a horrible experience. Had to go through Pete's because of AAA. We purchased a battery from AAA on January 14, 2023 & was told that there is a 3 year warranty. On December 24, 2003, the battery was dead so called AAA & they dispatched Pete's. He hooked up to the battery & the car would not start. He then said that he can not honor the warranty because the battery is at 4 volts & it had to be at 10 volts for them to honor the warranty. I said if the battery is at 10 volts it would START THE CAR & I WOULDN'T NEED IT REPLACED. He said he can sell me a new one but will not warranty it. Are you kidding me? I did complain to AAA on the 26th & was told the battery IS UNDER WARRANTY. I had to place another service call for it to be replaced. I did that & Pete's came out again. This time he looked & said they are not honoring the warranty & didn't even hook the car up. If you call AAA & they send Pete's CANCEL THE CALL- AAA really needs to find another company in the area to work with.

I had such a nice experience getting my car towed yesterday and YEP! I know that sounds weird but the whole process was wonderful. I called AAA and they sent out Jeremy to help get my car out of my garage and over to the Jeep garage (she was dead as doornail!) The communication on the way over was great, Jeremy was a delight and the whole process was painless.

I called AAA because my car wouldn't start at my home and Pete's Towing responded immediately, arriving within the hour. Mike was friendly, professional and made a quick bad battery diagnosis. Soon I was on my way.
