Everyone at AVH are amazing! The Vet is knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. The office staff is friendly and welcoming. It's never easy going to a vet but they make the experience better than any I have been to before. Highly recommend.

I need help getting my dogs meds. My vet who normally sees my dogs said they had no issue talking to advanced, which is closer to me, and with gas prices the way they are, was just hoping for a little help. Advanced refused. Unless my dog has an exam. What if I was from out of state? U won't work with my vet, whom my dogs see annually? Sgame on you people! Truly!! If my vet was willing, so should you have been. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. U can't email them. They're closed on Saturdays due to covid..whatever. All I see is them unwilling to help. So thanks. I'll never use them ever again!! Good Job Laura :)

Dr Kern and Dr Dieter.....amazing and educated veterinarians. Both take the time to explain the issues and are very giving with their time, with you and your family pet.

There we really good with my dog he really likes them but the were much better before COVID but now they take 30 mins to come outside to check your dog in so no matter when your appointment is you should plan to be there awhile just to drop your pet off. So bring a snack and something to read if you plan on going here. They should open there doors up like everyone else to avoid there laziness to walk out side.

The doctor and staff is very professional very caring not cheap but you don't get excellent with cheap it seems as though they care about their people and their patients you don't get that everywhere so it is definitely a good place to be if you care about your loving pet which is like a child to us

They won't give you a quote over the phone. You have to bring your animal in and pay the exam fee just for them to give you a quote of how much something is. I had an injured stray cat who needed to be sedated to have his mouth looked at. I called just to get an idea of how much it would cost to have him sedated. Because this vet is closest to me. I was trying to see if they were cheaper than my other vet which is further away. They couldn't even give me a roundabout cost of how much it would cost for a 10 lb cat. They wanted me to put him in a carrier, drag him all the way there, take off work, pay an exam fee JUST to tell me how much they charge to sedate him. Are you kidding me? They just lost a long time customer. I'm not stressing out a cat and going up there and paying a $50 exam/office fee just to tell me how much they charge to sedate a cat. And then, go back up there for the procedure and pay another $50 office fee. Get real. Be weary of vets that refuse to give estimates over the phone. How are you supposed to know how much money you need for the vet visit if they don't tell you even a slight estimate?? --If you want a quote, call Day And Evening pet hospital in Palm Harbor. They will tell you how much procedures cost without you having to drag your animal in, take time out of your day and pay an exam fee just to find out. They charge about $70 for sedation. Prior to this, I called and left a message asking them to call me back because I wanted to get another cat in and needed an appointment ASAP. Did they call me back? Nope.
