Terrific group, of amazing volunteers that help the local community tremendously! I can't say enough about this organization. Such a blessing to be a part of its growth. I'm very grateful to have been introduced to such an amazing team. ??

I am so excited to find this little Hobe Sound gem! The Furniture Dept. Is full of fun and unique pictures, lamps and mirrors which is what I came in there to shop for! But, the Clothing and Housewares Dept. is full of items I didn’t realize I needed! Come shop and find your must-have items. The volunteers are happy to help and the store is clean and orderly!

I have been a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Hobe Sound for over 3 years. It is a place where dedicated Christians work hard to help people and families in our community who need assistance. We are able to supply groceries to all of our clients and their dependents because of the generous donations we receive from our local neighbors. Our furniture and clothing departments are clean and well organized. All of our proceeds go to serving our clients. Stop by to say hello. You’ll be greeted with a friendly smile and a helpful group of volunteers who are there to do Christ’s work by serving our neighbors in need.

Peeked into the adjoining pantry room from the three foot connection entryway, to see a place overstocked with food like a supermarket. It was our first time there and it seems an obvious continuation of the thrift shop to explore.
We were scowled at by the attendant who in a loud voice out of nowhere, in heated Spanish, then English, said to get out and “WHAT DID WE WANT THERE?!!!!”. Well, obviously nothing. We should have put the 8-12 items we were carrying back and left.
We bought them anyway, and even rounded the purchase up for who knows what, after we were informed we got great deals and most of the clothing was “boutique” which is $8 a piece just for a used shirt (some were not clean) and it was really just the sort of junk we would get for $2 each at other thrift stores and just throw out after the emotion of buying at a thrift shop passed and we got a good look at it. No smiles here, right down to the man in charge at the front, who would be a better Enron accountant, or better yet, Kassem, the Seinfeld rigid “Soup Cop” if you’ve seen that episode from the 90s, complete with his sidekick at the register in the soup kitchen. “No more shirt for you!!!” lol, an experience if you enjoy being bossed around.

Over priced furniture, the quality I could find at good will for a fraction of the cost. People seem to be very quiet.

One of the worst Church thrift stores I have gone too. No one has smile on thier face or happy to greet a customer unless they are white. The lady at the counter where the clothes are is just as misrable as the one in the front and a gentleman just standing around when people need assistance. I am respectful and my parents taught to be respectful so I contained myself but I will ensure I'll never step foot in here and ensure to tell everyone I know on all platforms. You work to serve the lord and are not acting as though you have him in your heart find another job or volunteer else where.

Not a very friendly place....was shopping for furniture and household items not one person working or volunteering smiled or said a word to me. I felt uncomfortable unwelcome so I'll shop elsewhere
