They (pharmacy) put you in hold when you call just to hang up the phone, so disrespectful.

The pharmacy has very bad service. It is on Palm Ave and 49th Street in Hialeah. 1 hour wait. Only one clerk attending the outside window and the counter. Today I stopped by to pick up medicine and a woman with dyed red hair He works at the pharmacy, he went out to help the cleaner throw away the boxes and stood at the bathroom door to talk for 15 minutes instead of helping the customers on the line. It's disrespectful.

Every single month that goes by, every month there’s a problem with filling my medication. I’m diagnosed with PTSD and suffer with panic anxiety disorder and mild depression as a result. Usually it’s a result of a certain pharmacist who literally acts as if me or anyone else who comes to the consult window wants to or has time to hang around at Walgreens and bother him. No it’s cause the app is garbage and doesn’t align with the in store software 95% of the time. He will either not be able to count to 28 days. Or just flat out wants to have a pissing contest when I need my medication filled on that 28th day for times like now it’s on “back order”. Where there is a complete drought of my meds and I need those extra 2 days saved up; because they are guess what? Completely out of my meds and telling me tomorrow, tomorrow. It’s Wednesday. I’ve been tomorrowed since Sunday. Which means they are likely experiencing some bidding war at the corporate level over a generic which multiple manufacturers make my med which has been manufactured for decades. Now I’m completely out. Large conglomerates like Walgreens don’t care if a patient/customer suffers at their expense so long as they get the cheapest price on generic and make the maximum profit off of it. I have really liked the past 2 pharmacy managers at this location. I started going there when Pierre was the pharmacy manager years ago. They wore him all the way down and I like the current pharmacy Manager Jenine. But the other pharmacists are not bringing the big D energy. The District and Regional Management is the most greedy profit hungry in miami dade I’ve ever seen in my entire 14 years of using this medication and others like it. They stress out the pharmacy technicians at high volume locations like this store to the maximum. In central to northern Broward stores with far less volume have 2 techs working up front. South Broward and northern to central miami dade have 1 tech working a packed front counter and packed drive thru bouncing back and forth and keeping us in line for as long as we have to be. I see why some folks give up entirely on taking medication they need to get through life. It’s a battle for them every single month. A unnecessary ridiculous battle and it’s not always the pharmacists fault but when one wants to argue about 28 days or 30 days and I’m paying cash not on insurance. It harms the consumer. I shouldn’t have to beg that man. For MY prescription. On the 28th day FILL IT! Now they’re completely out of my meds for god only knows how long and I’m irritated to the max. The customer shouldn’t be the one that suffers yet it’s always that way. He’s deleted my script from the system somehow not once, not twice, but 3 times. I don’t think it’s by mistake. And if it is, my god. He’s probably responsible for someone out there literally dying, if not multiple folks. The 800 number is a joke. I suggest filing reports with the (DBPR) Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The medical division is separate and they license disgruntled pharmacists, Doctors, Nurses. If you have had a issue with a Pharmacist completely dismissing you as a human, a patient, and a customer at a Walgreen’s location and being completely dismissive of your needs. Don’t call the corporate 800 number. Go online and report your concerns to the DPBR. The only way anything will ever be done. Furthermore, if you’re a woman and have a comprehensive understanding of your reproductive cycle. Walgreens corporate gives full authority to their pharmacists to deny you plan B and Birth Control based on their personal religious objections. As a true follower of Christ who would never inflict my religious beliefs on anyone’s medical care. I find this detestable, and morally reprehensible as women are every bit as equal to men if not more valuable to society. I digress, I give 1 star cause every single month of my life it’s something else that I shouldn’t have to deal with not just from this location. But from Walgreen’s in general. Anxiety driven rant from a unmedicated customer.

I wish I could switch pharmacy's! This place gets worse and worse everyday! My daughter had to go check on her RX since no one ever answers the phone there and after being in line for more them 30 mins she was told that her medication was sent via Uber. As to why the medication would be sent via Uber is beyond me but regardless the medication was not received. After arguing with the person attending her they looked in the back and found that the medication had not been picked up yet, but even if Uber would had picked it up they where sending it to someone else's house even though the correct address was listed on the bag. Before the medication was found my daughter was told that there was nothing that they could do, that the patient was responsible for calling the insurance company to see if they would issue another authorization even though the mistake was on their end!!!
This pharmacy is short on staff and the limited employees they have working are useless. They usually have the pharmacist
and 1 person attending the in person clients in person and via the drive through. Walgreens needs to do BETTER!!! This are sick people who do not feel well trying to get their medications!

A 24-hour Walgreens whose pharmacy is only open 11 of those hours. Why?

I’d give their pharmacy 0 stars if possible! Only one person to take care of both walk in and drive thru customers.

Horrible service at this pharmacy. The main pharmacist is rude and purposely did not answer the phone to get my prescription transferred. I will never go to this Walgreens. She is super unethical and she should have her license revoked for being such a witch

This has been my go to Walgreens for 25yrs+
Yes. It can be slow sometimes, but put yourself in their shoes and reframe your mind to deal with the volume of customers they deal with, lack of employees, and their responsibilities.
The pharmacy is slow. Always has been. I don’t know what they have to do, but maybe it’s their network system? They seem to get frustrated and switch computers often.
Overall this Walgreens is okay.
Not the best by any means, but it’s Walgreens guys…

Worst pharmacy I have stepped into. Very unprofessional. Only one person to attend to customers inside and drive thru at the same time. You can easily be in there 1 hour to just pickup a prescription. If you call they hang up on you or just put you on hold and never come back. Ridiculous. Management really don't care.

Terrible service. A single employee to attend to medication collections by car and on foot. There is a line of nine people. I've been waiting for more than 45 minutes. And it's not the first time it happens
