We just completed a photo session at JCPenny Westland mall. The pictures came out amazing!! We worked with Amanda. She was wonderful! We had an amazing experience. She was extremely helpful and optimistic, and it shows in the quality of the photos. I highly recommend her for your future photo sessions.

Beyond Poor customer service!! JCPenney Please do Us all a favor and get new employees who don't hate their jobs and try to make people as miserable as Them. Especially the Lady with blue shirt working second floor today in girls section. Do better.

Worst location ever. The employees have attitude and talk to you like your a child. I also didn’t receive t pictures till 2 weeks after. I had to call 4!!!! Times because they couldn’t get my email right after I called them and spelled it word for word and letter by letter. Would not recommend.

Very bad experience at the JCPenney Portraits Hialeah location. Their entire system went down when we were going to start our session. We waited about an hour and they could not resolve it. We were told that we would lose our reservation time and we would have to reschedule. What made it worst was that instead of telling us they would call us once the system was back up, they continued to call to confirm their next appointments knowingly that the system offline. I told the store manager that instead of calling to confirm she should inform the customers that the system is down so that they do not have to dress up and waste the customers time. In the end we went back a couple of hours later only to find the system was still down and 4 families waiting with one of them having a newborn. The store manager was not considerate and did not know how to handle the situation correctly.I definitely would not recommend this place.

On 12/12, I had a "dorky family" photoshoot set up with my little sister and cousin. Amanda was our photographer, and she was the bestttt! She was so sweet and accommodating. She made the whole shoot so fun, we could not stop laughing the whole time. If you come to this JCP for pictures, you'll be so lucky to get her as your photographer! -Sincerely, the clumsy girl who took a fall on the way in

The manager (Maria) is very discriminating and rude. Ruined the entire session for my toddler and I. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. She was yelling at me while having a conversation and everybody in that corner of the store was staring. I felt so uncomfortable, when I asked her to please lower her voice because it’s embarrassing for everyone to be in my conversation she continued to go louder saying that’s just how she speaks. Then speaks to following client with such a soft voice. I went very pretty with my daughter and I hate to say this but she was rude to me because she’s an insecure unhappy lady. She doesn’t help you pose or make you or your children feel comfortable at all. I wanted to cry from how much my blood was boiling. I payed for my makeup and hair and same for my daughter to just waste our time and money. We ended up leaving and not completing the shoot because she was making it her job to make it a terrible shoot with terrible photos.this was for our holiday card. I contacted Human Resources and they’re going to do something about it.This Maria lady is a real evil person. There’s so many reviews with her name in a negative light. Hopefully she can be replaced with a photographer/manager who values their job.

Very dissapointed, yesterday I arrived at the store at 7:05 pm and they closed the door in my face. Why don't they update the schedule according to the information on Google?

If I could give one star, I would. Absolutely horrible experience. The manager, Maria, was incredibly rude and unprofessional- turned and walked away from our conversation at one point. When I told her she was walking away while in the middle of a conversation with me, she yelled at me from another room. My photos would have taken five minutes- and she argued and treated me disrespectfully for over 30. I used to go to JCPenney religiously for portraits, not anymore. Save your time and save your money- go somewhere else.

horrible horrible horrible. we got told today when our appointment is tomorrow that our shoot is getting cut to only 10 mins with no outfit changes when it was their own fault they scheduled us and another group at the same time. we made the appointment a week ago and there was no accountability on their side and telling us we booked it late when theyre reaching out to us a day prior about our photoshoot. please go somewhere else if you want your moneys worth and time .

Terrible management no customer service whatsoever. Maria the manager speaks over you and is very rude. This happened last year also but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. So I scheduled again this year think she would have been gone by now. Today she calls me with attitude. Not sure how they have someone like her work for such a company….also I got my picture 2 months later last year… good luck I will take my business elsewhere…

I had my session with the manager and she was amazing. Super friendly. She had extreme patience with my 3 children. I didn’t have 1 bad photo. She was full of ideas and gave me a lot of options to choose from.
