Terrible online customer service. After spending more than half an hour verifying myself and trying to activate a new debit card I'd had enough. Then I was told that there was a problem with all the new debit cards that were sent out (seriously). Between Tyler and Ingrid mismanaging the whole thing I'm ready to find a new bank. With all their closures it might be a good idea. The branch experience is great (FIVE stars). I wish I could say the same about the online service. Terrible customer service. I walked in just to cash a check, lady scanned it said her computer was slow. I waited and waited and waited. 30 mins later she still didn’t know what was wrong with her computer. Mind you the bank was totally empty. 7 other people on staff. Nobody could cash the check and they didn’t know why there’s computer wasn’t working. Completely incompetent. I went to another Bank United and they did it in under 5 mins. I will never go to this bank again. If you can’t cash a check in under 5 mins which is basic banking, why are you even open? 7 people, 10 computers, 0 results. Now I know why the bank was empty in the first place.

Opened account and made a cash deposit. Came back about a month later to make another cash deposit. Teller informed me that the cash deposit was on hold for a month. Can't believe that cash requires clearing period now. Closed my account.
