Today I felt the need to visit Amscot at 49 Ave Hialeah Fl 33012 to request an advance. However, my experience with customer service was disappointing. I head towards the window where the agent named Norberto assists me according to his credential on his uniform, where he expresses out loud to his partner that like me he dared to ask for an advance of money having such an expensive watch in his hand, which It seemed to me to be very disrespectful since he does not know the need that each person has at that moment and yes! The watch is expensive but he does not know the amount I need to pay and it is possible that my income is higher than his. His attitude directly reflects on Amscot's image. If other customers witness this type of behavior, they might think twice before coming back. Like me, other customers might look for alternatives due to negative experiences. Poor customer service can drive away valuable people.Amscot must invest in training its staff to ensure exceptional customer service.

The services at this location is very poor. I experienced on multiple times racism. The teller Norberto tried to look busy to keep from coming to me until he went to a gentleman next to me already being helped by another teller until he had to come to me with a very unprofessional and rude attitude. So when I started questioning him, he refused to assist me which he didn’t want to do in the first place and I called him out on it. Then the manager Lillian came with the same unprofessional and rude attitude but I stuck it out. When she finished she left my paperwork on the counter. I asked Milano to call her back to the window. Lillian came to the window and I asked her about my paperwork as she stated there is a note in the computer that you do not want the paperwork. I have been to Amscot too many times and they have to give you the paperwork whether you want it or not. So I know she was lying. Both the manager Lillian and Norberto need to take a customer service class and how to deal with people especially when dealing with the public.

I don’t agree with me coming to purchase a money order giving you my cash for you to ask for my Social Security number. If I was cashing a check, getting a loan, then I understand but for me to purchase a money order my Social Security number should not be a requirement. !!!

What a waste of time going to amscot. I spoke on the phone with a employee and even told them i have a e-bank (varo bank) and they said it was ok to go in to get a loan. Only to find out that after wasting a hour and a half of my life they said no because Amscot only works with traditional banks.... what is the DAM DIFFERENCE? A traditional bank you have a building you can walk into and a e-bank you do everything over the phone . Whoever runs amscot you do understand stand the only difference between these 2 banks is being able to walk into a office. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME

Dear Angel “Manager of this Amscot in Hialeah FL location”. Please have your corporate office train you and teach how to treat people in person and over the phone. Your arrogant manners and unprofessionalism will not get you anywhere. Also talking about your other Amscot managers in the nation about not doing their job says a lot about the type of incompetent individual you are! I have been doing business with Amscot for over 10 years and never had a disastrous person to talk to me the way he did today. Invest in a course about management or how to treat women. You need this. If you were having a bad day a good idea is for you to go home and analyze how to be a better human being. You can thank me later. You are so far from being professional. I just find it really hard to believe that Amcot don't have any quarters. I only have this problem when I'm in a Hispanic area. Really sad, will never go there again

So I literally just left the and some guy skipped me and went to the next person with my number being first. He then proceeds to give me attitude then when he puts the cash loan date he tells me I have to wait until 1 am and walks off . Very rude and unprofessional. Will not be back at this location. At the end of the day it's still a job that he gets paid and should be more nice

Let the reviews speak by themselves... I have change checks in many check cashing stores in none of them they ask for my customers phone numbers ...I do all kind of work... plumbing electrical installation and repairs..car mechanic...etc etc ...and thanks to that I gain many customers...why do I have to give to a check cashing my customers phone number every single time I go to amscot??
