I started working for Joe in January, always expected to do more than what one person could possibly do for $11/hr. He doesn't respect boundaries, acts unprofessional and will yell at you over the phone. One person scheduled per 8 hrs, no breaks. I was expected to make all the food, clean, stock, help customers by myself. If I couldn't get all the sandwiches made, he would tell me to stay an extra 30 minutes to make more. There is no OT pay, your check stops at 40 hrs and he pays the rest to you in cash $11/hr. The pumps are always out of gas, he just doesn't actually care about this business or about his employees. We were told to keep the food that didn't sell that day and reheat it for the next day. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and was told I'm fired and he didn't give me a reason why. Don't work here if you have standards and value yourself and well-being.

The new owner Joe is a great Man. This place is run absolutely awesome now. All the food is now cooked on the grill and taste great.

If I could put zero stars I would. The new owner "Joe" is a liar and a very good manipulator. The loss of the stores manager of 6yrs has taken its toll on the store and business hasn't been the same.He talks a very good game however really has no idea what he is doing. He has lost the trust and loyalty of a lot of the community. He treats his employees and customers differently as if judging books by their covers. He is chauvinistic, narcissistic, shallow, inconsiderate and very unprofessional. Only speaking for experience as I also helped get the store ready.

Joe does a wonderful job with A&J Petro. Its a lot of time and effort he puts in to giving the community of Hernando beach a clean well run business. The food is great and his customer service is excellent. Thanks Joe

They give fake nicotine away. Also winked and told my friend she didn't need to show ID even though she is over age.
