I use this stones store over the other local stones locations because they always have what you need or will get something you use on a regular. The store manager is straight forward and blunt at times but with the way people are now a days, can you blame him? He's not rude or disrespectful, he just runs a tight ship and holds his crew to a higher expectation. Every time I walk in I'm greeted by one of the employees asking if I need help finding anything but not in the way they feel like they HAVE to ask but because they genuinely want to help. I saw a few comments from others saying that they are over priced and I would agree but being the only hardware store in a small town just around the corner gives you that advantage and to be fair, they've been there much longer than I can remember. So they are doing something right. I'd consider this store more of an emergency supply to small project store, if you use them as supplier for say, building an addition or even a full house that could be on the pricy side but they do deliver materials at an extremely competitive rate so remember, get a quote on lumber. if you don't like the price, don't be a Karen and try to ruin a local company just because you don't agree with small insignificant things that don't matter. now if the location was absolutely in need of repairs and cleaning I'd post that but just because you may not like how the crew is or the pricing, that is yours to deal with because like myself, and a lot of other locals, we appreciate our local businesses and they have proved that they deserve our Business.

Google said that this was a feed store so I drove all the way to this location from Tallahassee, only for them to tell me that this was not a feed store it is more like a garden center or something. I was so angry, I waisted time and gas going all the way there for nothing.

If I could give them less than one star, I would. These people are stupid and antisocial and they run their business like a little kid playing store. My daughter and I raise pigs, and these people at Stones could have had a LOT of our business because they are conveniently close to us. But they NEVER had the feed in-store that my daughter used, even though she asked them repeatedly to order her X amount of bags, call her when they came in and she would pick them up immediately. Nope. Never happened. IF they had any of the swine feed on hand, it would only be one or two bags. Same thing with bags of swine dewormer. They would have one bag. Who the hell only uses one or two bags of feed for even a small herd of pigs? Idiots. It's the same thing with ALL their feeds. AND, the woman that works there and answers the phone knows ZERO about any of the products they sell. If you call and ask her anything about any product, she will put you on hold to go ask somebody each and every question you might have about the product. It's like watching the Three Stooges in Russian. So, bottom line: 1. Horrible customer service, all the way around. 2. No knowledge of their products. 3. Ignorant and rude staff. 4. Never enough vital products (like feeds and dewormers) on hand. 5. Prices are WAY higher than ANY other feed/hardware stores, including ACE and Tractor Supply.

Purchased an older home in Havana, and I always try to spend my money locally, even if there's a bit of a premium to pay. You really need to try and support your local economy. We're going to need $10-15,000 in materials. When we went to the store, it was easy to spend $300+ for 10 sheets of AdvanTech subflooring. This was a Thursday, and I asked for it to be delivered before the next week - no urgent rush. Went to my property and the material was delivered, laying on the ground (no stickering) and uncovered. I buy a lot of building material for my North Carolina cabin, and it's always off the ground and well wrapped. Sunday we started subflooring the home. Tongues were smashed, one sheet had a broken off corner, one sheet looked oil stained, one sheet looked like it had been used as a walkboard and paint drop cloth, and there were several large staples in a couple of sheets. I'm guessing I got all the yard rejects and returns. Lesson learned - back to Lowe's or Home Depot, unfortunately.
