I went to this vet because no where around where i live does check ups on a bunny. I love everyone there, the nurses and everyone was really sweet, but the doctor didnt treat my bunny correctly for the physical exam. He grabbed my bunny incorrectly. when he went to check my bunny's teeth he grabbed him by the neck in a forecful manner, and then said he was all good. I honestly dont believe thats the way to treat a rabbit, and i was very upset. As well as that i paid a lot for the exam and just for the doctor to do that, look at him and say all good. Im very scared to voice my opinion and or leave reviews or comments. But i just didnt like the way he treated my rabbit. I feel like they are good with dogs and cats, but with exotic animals like a rabbit, i feel like they have less experience. Everyone else was very lovely. And i do apologize for the bad review, again this is just my opinion.
Edit: so the manager did call me and apologized for the way they treated my bunny, he was really sweet about it, and i really appreciate it. And he also returned the money that we used to pay for the physical exam. I appreciate the fact that he understood my part and my situation, apologized and also returned my money. A million thanks for understanding. And hopefully this isnt a reoccuring situation.

Aug 2024 my 3 kitties were due for the 3 year Purevax rabies vaccine.
After reading about rabies vaccine possible adverse reactions, effects at injection site.
I read about Purevax 3 year feline rabies vaccine . Purevax is adjuvant free vaccine.
To give a brief explanation. I copied this ;
“Adjuvants have been the source of significant controversy since they were implicated as a potential cause of feline injection-site sarcomas (FISS), a type of cancer that may occur at the site of injections in cats. Although the relationship between adjuvants and FISS remains the subject of ongoing debate and research, it seems prudent to avoid the use of adjuvants in feline vaccines, provided that these new non-adjuvanted vaccines offer protection that is comparable to similar vaccines formulated with adjuvants. Until now, non-adjuvanted rabies vaccines for cats only provided one-year protection from rabies infection.”
Since now Bohlinger offers 3 year Purevax feline rabies . I live in Broward county Florida and though my 3 cats are always inside the county and my condo association requires it.
My 3 kitties are my heart, my everything and I want to do all possible to give them their best life. A long life! This is why I only want to give them this Purevax 3 year non adjuvant rabies vaccine.
After making many phone calls. I thought I was going to have to drive to Orlando or Palm beach to a vet that did offer Purevax. I had extreme anxiety about taking the long drive with my 3 cats. As they too do not like to leave home , even when the vet visit is down the road.
I called Animal hospital of Hallandale and spoke with Brenda. To my relief she advised that they did have the Purevax . I went 1 week before to reconfirm and it turns out they had the 1 year not the 3 year. I asked if they can order the 3 Purevax 3 year rabies vaccine for my 3 kitties. They said they will reach out to their representative and call me back. To my surprise a few days later I received the great news.
I made appointment and my 3 kitties received the Purevax 3 year adjuvant free rabies vaccine on Aug 13, 2024. I also love the fact that everything is done right infront of me. I was with my 3 kitties the whole time . That is always my request and honestly that just happened without me having to ask. Every one at animal hospital of hallandale was very professional, and friendly. Thank you to everyone there for accommodating my request to order the 3 year Purevax rabies vaccine. Brenda, Julia and Jeffrey really made my day. I am truly grateful. I also love the sign with all the names of the animals with appointments that day.

I had an excellent experience at the Animal Hospital of Hallandale. The staff were friendly and professional, making both me and my pet feel comfortable. The clinic was clean and well-equipped. The nurse and doctor provided thorough care, showed genuine compassion. I highly recommend this clinic for their outstanding care, prices and dedication.

My dog had a bad fall that hurt her back. With the laser treatment and medication we have noticed a big improvement in her walking ability. We will continue with the laser treatment as necessary.

I have to say some of the personnel having a big problem There are a couple of nice girls with a good heart working at the front. But the Doctor no. I will not talk about Doctor Barbosa. Is the one with a scar on the face. Hungry for money! They diagnosed my pet with the wrong diagnostic and charge in top of this lots of money for Blood tests, Ulta Sounds and all different tests. If you are a good Phisician you know exactly from the beginning what's wrong with the pet only looking at. After all I'm not happy about what happened to my pet and the treatment and everything I don't recommend this place to anyone. Never step to this location if you don't want to be painfully struck.

My dog was in a lot of pain, due to osteoarthritis and since he started using laser he has improved a lot. He has been complaining of less pain.

Without a doubt, the best veterinary clinic I have ever found. Dr. Cepeda and the entire staff are very charismatic, kind, and have a great service vocation. I have always had an excellent experience when taking my dogs there, and the best part is that they have always diagnosed and treated them correctly when they have been sick. All the services they provide are of excellent quality, and thanks to them, we were able to treat an allergy that our chihuahua had, which had not been controlled with anything else. Thank you very much for your excellent service and care for our dogs!

Dr. Cepeda, Dr. Barbara, Jeff, Julia, Shannon, and the entire staff here are very patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. Their expertise has helped so much with our puppy. We've had a lot of questions as first-time dog owners, and every question was answered with care thanks to the passionate staff here. We chose this vet based on the positive reviews, and we can agree they have gone above and beyond to help us and our puppy. As long as we have our dog, we will always go here and recommend this veterinary office to everyone. Thank you all, and keep up the great work.

Wish I could give 10 stars. They treated my 4 year old Nate (adopted Chihuahua) like their own. Their services are very affordable, especially in this economy and my personal financial situation. Friendly staff answered all my questions. Definitely recommend them to all my friends and family!
