I had to put my cat of 17 years down . It was a hard decision that took me too long to make. When I finally decided it was time, I called the vet that sees my dog. They couldn't help unless I waited 3 more days. I called Haines City Pet Hospital. They worked me in that day. By far the nicest staff. I was a mess and they were very understanding.

They took great care of my kitty. He isn't used to strangers but they calmed him & had him purring before finishing the exam. Very impressive!

This is the worst vet I will never take any of my animals there again cause all they do is try to get more money out of you at your appointment and they killed my friends cat

This msg is not about the service to the pets, is for the students who want to volunteer in this Clinic and then need a letter of reference or referral for the schools. I will let you know that in this place they will NOT give you this letter. It doesn't matter if you spent a long time volunteering and in addition they take care of your pet to be treated, without any privileges like a normal client. Even after finishing volunteering and you take your pet to be attended, everyone can remember you and asked about your academic progress in a very "Comfortable" way but at the time of requesting a letter, they no longer feel "Comfortable". It was disappointing and it affected my daughter a lot. This is why I would not like it to happen to another young. I have heard it has happened to others also in other clinics and that is why I give my alert in this matter. To our young people who are passionate about this field ask about the availability of receiving letters and/or recommendations if requested, because apparently many of these doctors, after a while, forget and say they are not "Comfortable" not to help them and it is something very unfortunate. It is not a way to support and encourage the young people to achieve your goals. Looks like they forgot helps the people.

A bit expensive but they do the job. They took good care of my little old fur baby and now they're taking care of my new one. Though a little bit pricey, the others are very expensive. No unnecessary procedures to bulk up the costs as the other clinics do. The vet is quite honest.

If I could put -0000 stars I would. I noticed my 3 year old Male yorkie had been throwing up and not eating so I wanted to take him to see his vet and the receptionist told me the doctor leaves early. I called at 2pm because i tried calling at 1:30 and they were closed for lunch. So how does a vet leave early when they close at 6pm. My dog should've at least been seen by a different doctor that they had available or at least asked if the doctor could come in for an emergency visit. The girl at the front said I need to make a appointment for my dog and she'd call me asap if there was a opening. She took down my name and phone number and it's been a entire week since this has happened and I still haven't received a call from them even though my pup that same day passed 3 hours after I tried getting him seen by his vet. He was a very healthy puppy who got his yearly checkups and his heart worm & flea pills monthly on the dot, this was negligence and I still have 2 other dogs and I found a much better doctor in the area than this horrible place who doesn't care about their patients. I recommend you switch your animals primary veterinary before anything happens to them. My previous encounters with them it was all about the money and their prices are insanely high. It seems as if the money is their priority instead of healing animals to health.

I brought my dog to this pet hospital because I was in a bind since my vet doesn't take urgent matters. My appointment was for 230. As a new patient I came inside and did the paperwork and waited in the lobby until after 330 to go into a room. The vet tech came out to do the intake form in the lobby and told me once a room was available I can bring my dog inside. So we waited an additional 5 minutes. Once I was in the room with my dog I waited additional time for the doctor. I was there because my dog was urinating blood and also had a bloody tail which I had to dress in the lobby while waiting. When the doctor came in to check my dog she was kind and seemed concerned however when she told me she will be back she never came back. I waited until about 435 for the tech to come in with another tech to take my dogs temp and weight. By then I wasn't able to collect a urine sample because he had peed all over the floor waiting for over 2 hours. The tech then came back to give me a breakdown of services which ran up to $700 which I had to decline some services due to my budget. I needed to be able to get an exam, meds and X-rays. The other extra stuff I wasn't able to address at that time. It seemed as though this one male tech was running around doing the majority of the visits. After getting the X-ray the dr wasn't there to tell me what was seen in the X-ray. Instead it was the tech saying there may be something there but I can send it out to a specialist. So I paid $160 for the X-ray, and they told me it'll be $250 additional to send out. So I got the X-ray and still no answer. So I will have to call and find out from the dr what is the actual issue. The room was not clean. I think maybe more tech staff and a cleaning crew may help the facility work more efficiently and possibly the dr staying in the facility and finishing her visits with her patients before leaving and having patients still in the room.

This place is a joke. I do not believe the original owner operates this business currently. They are now curbside a 10:30 appointment and it is now 12:54 I am still here waiting on my dog. You call for information, the front do not answer the phone. You are just sitting until the tech, just decide to come out. Another issue, the doctors will drive the cost up at every visit. I had dental work done on my dog, came back for recheck again the were
