I took my grandma here about two years ago, they didn’t let me in because of Covid restrictions so I showed a picture of what my grandma picked color and style…. We took our time looking for what she wanted.I paid before I saw her and they did a whole different color and didn’t style the way she wanted because they didn’t have time although I scheduled the appointment for color cut and style. My grandma said she was doing her hair and another lady’s at the same time. I was very disappointed and so was she. I don’t recommend anyone go to this salon.

Gladys is the truth!!!! She did my 11 year old daughters hair and I still don't think I payed her enough for this transformation. Pricing, customer service and quality can NEVER be beat here. My one and only salon is Devon!!!

I took my son in to get a wash from this salon. We asked nicely for the price and was told the price nicely. We sat down said hi and put our items down on the salon chair. I asked the male can my son go next door to order some food while we waited. The male said (yes it will be 30 minutes until he’s seen so your good.)
My son ordered then we went back to the salon minutes later. They locked the door on us Smh. I knocked over and over again looking at them. They just looked at us talking to one another. I had to ask one of the cops that were eating next door to let us in to get our things. The one cop told me to keep knocking he can’t make them let me in to get our things. SMH I can’t make this up! Then I guess he thought about what he had just said and told the other cop to go with me. So the cop knocked on the door and she opened the door. She said she’s been locking the door since COVID-19 for protection.. I brought it to her attention that i had been knocking while they were looking at me knock and she said oh no we no hear you come on in we give good service.. Pretending of course I just look for my things and walked out. Basically she locked us out for no reason at all being nasty . We definitely need some black salons because, most of these places are so disrespectful to people of color for no reason at all.

It was such an AMAZING experience for my first blow out. Ms. Gladys was very sweet and informative. She took great care of my hair and the silk press and trim is PERFECT ? 10/10 I’ll definitely be back

I loved this place, starting with the very friendly owners and what I always look for in a place is that they take good care of me as a client, they won me over as a client, they left my hair spectacular, it took me a long time, they are the best, two of you hesitate to visit this place, thank you very much for the attention you gave me.

It is the second time he visited the salon. The first time a very kind girl helped me and gave me a spectacular cut and blow-dry. This time I was with another new person. After having a baby, a lot of my hair fell out and I wanted to cut my hair significantly so it would grow evenly. When I go, the owner asks me what I wanted to do, since it was simply a cut, she told the new woman to take care of me. Apparently she's not very interested in people who only go for cuts. The other girl left my hair completely out of square. It was from smallest to largest. I went back and told the lady's husband. He told the owner and she DIDN'T EVEN LOOK OUT TO SEE MY HAIR. They left me waiting for 30-40 minutes until they finished with another client and put me back with the same girl. I struggled to fix my hair and he told me that I probably had my hair like that because I had one side "longer than the other." To all of these, the owner did not apologize, nor did she assist me, I saw the work she did, nor did she discount ANYTHING! My displeasure is with the owner. Because if you have a client who goes for a "simple cut" take good care of her. Because maybe later I would have gone for something else. But if you don't know how to make a simple cut, imagine something else. Unfortunately I leave this review and it is the last time I go.
***Update. A few days later the lady gave me a REFUND for the inconvenience.

Good afternoon, just wanted to share a comment regarding pricing this is my 3rd visit and each time I was charged a different price with a different excuse that didn't make any sense. But they sit and listen to gospel music all day n over charging customers . All wanted was a nice hair salon when I'm in town but after today I don't think I will be going back.
