We brought our Shih Tzu in for a full cut. Dropping him off seemed ok. The shop wasn't overly busy and everyone seemed nice. When I picked him up he looked very nice, except for one long spot they missed. When I brought my baby for his second cut I wish I had just walked OUT. But I wanted to give them another shot. It was only one long spot and his hair can be curly there...I understood. This time the shop was chaotic...It felt far too booked. I brought to their attention the missed spot and asked them to please not shave his balls....went into a story as to why...and I asked them to please leave his eyelashes alone. When I picked him up I could have cried. First of all the shop was A MESS. Hair everywhere. This time I also noticed hair all over the merchandise for sale on the wall...SO gross. The front desk guy couldn't find me in the system....was running around asking questions. Nobody seemed to know anything about my dog! The whole thing was a mess and a complete anxiety attack. Once I got him home and calmed down I noticed that they only cut his mid section very short, and his feet very close, his leg hair and neck hair is poofy and makes his feet look ridiculously small, and it's cut jagged. The long spot that I brought to their attention is still LONG. They shaved his little face around his nose so close that I can see the skin... but didn't touch his cheeks or his head, so his face is a ridiculous shape. AND....they shaved his eyelashes COMPLETELY OFF!!! ANYONE who has a Shih Tzu knows how heartbreaking that was....and now his eyes are constantly watering. AND....they shaved his balls. Thanks for hitting everything on my do not do list! We had asked for the same groomer as before....but I'm pretty sure that didn't happen. It honestly looks like they let the front desk man... with no groomers experience ...groom my dog. Will NEVER return...and how does this nasty place have so many great reviews?!?!I contacted them RIGHT AFTER I got home....AND the next day. I wanted to speak to them before I left this review...but they have never ever contacted me back.If you wanna play Russian roulette with your pooches grooming.... definitely visit K-9 splash and dash....spin the wheel and GOOD LUCK! Because who knows what you'll get!!!This experience taught me to ALWAYS read the bad reviews...not just the good ones.

K9 Splash N Dash is by far the best dog grooming service ever. Our dog had previously been hurt by another grooming service provider and would not allow anyone else to groom him from that point on. But then we finally found K9 Splash N Dash and because they were all patient and gentle, he now enjoys going to the groomers and always looks absolutely wonderful! The staff is always amazing, thorough, professional and make him look perfect every time. The prices are also the best prices you can find anywhere for a quality cut and pamper. I highly recommend them for all of your fur babies!

My 2 mini doxies just received their first shape up after a few months of going without being groomed since we moved, and this place was absolutely amazing! We had an early 8am appointment and were greeted with happy tones and smiles on a gloomy, rainy day! The staff was great with my wild ones and they looked and smelled great when I picked them up! Their bandanas were super cute as well! We will definitely be back!

Thank you, Joey! We are so pleased with your excellent grooming service. We discussed our choice of haircut for our 80 lb. Golden Doodle (Pete) & you groomed him exactly as we requested. Many groomers will perform their choice of haircut rather than the the customers choice without obtaining their permission. Pete will definitely schedule his next appointment with you.Much appreciation,Rada & Kent Ortman

We’ve been taking our two dogs to K9 Splash And Dash for 9 years now, and they never have disappointed us. Our babies come home with all their grooming needs, smelling amazing with a new scarfs to match the season, which is an additional touch that we appreciate! Joey did their grooming today and made them look cuter than they already are!!

We lucked out finding this place as our Thor desperately needed a full service spa day and nail grinding. He’s a pretty sweet old man, and we know he’s happy when his butt wags with his tail. The staff loved him just as much, and said he was such a good boy. He smells so good, his fur is soft, nails look great, and he’s ready for his 50 naps (but who doesn’t love a good nap?). I believe our groomer was Nick, and we will definitely go back!

I have been taking my Latte to Joey for 2years now. He is a king cavalier and he is by far the best groomer! We moved and I drive 40min to see him as tried others and no one cuts him as well! Plus Latte adores him! He gets so excited when I say we’re going to see Joey today! Also please tip your groomers well as they deserve every penny! My daughter is a groomer in WA state and some people don’t tip at all which absolutely floors me! Thanks Joey for being the best!

We have a 3yr old Shihi Zu that we had taken to K-9 since he was a new puppy from his first grooming until this last September. He had finished with his grooming and was waiting on his sister to be done with hers. At that time even though they were supposed to put the dogs in kennels they didn't they just walked around on the floor. Well Milo is a little guy all of 12 lbs soaking wet. As he was walking around the guy who does the nails finished a rather large dog and set him down right next to him which startled him so when he jumped around he bumped into the large dog. The Big dog didn't like that so he bit Milo on the mouth hard enough that it broke his jaw. Fast forward to the next day we are in Mobile for jaw surgery at a specialized surgery facility and out $4,000.00 and he has to stay there for 2 more days after surgery as well as hotel room so we can be close by.As far as any reimbursement or anyone assuming fault on this it never happened. We talked to the owners of the other dog and basically all they had to say is I'm really sorry that happened but our dog doesn't act like that something must have provoked him. And K-9 said we are so very sorry but it's not our problem. So needless to say we have never gone back and never will. I dont agree with the way they do business. Our sweet baby is fine now but with a plate and a screw in his jaw.
