Was so happy to see shelter open since it was president day. Door opens with a welcome smile and brought in food, towels, sheets and pet bed.

A very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Ruffles was timid but so sweet. The staff was great and very helpful. They explained in detail everything we needed to know about feeding, shots,habits and policies. I couldn't be happier with our new family member. She's napping on my foot as we speak

These people truly love animals and helping others learning to save them too. We have known of them for years, but now we're actually involved directly by volunteering for them. Its truly rewarding and helping lots of animals.

Thank you for considering a rescue pet from The Animal League! Our pets are located at our Adoption Center in Groveland, FL, in foster homes or at PETCO in Clermont. Visiting with our pets is by appointment only. However, you may drop off donations to the Adoption Center Thursday – Monday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Contacting us: email is better than calling. We receive hundreds of calls every day and we are volunteer based. We try to check messages on the hour. You will get a quicker response by contacting us via the Contact form on our website.
