Honestly the website is EXTREMELY helpful. Each product has a very thorough item description with above-and-beyond information. (I've even seen descriptions for tripods go as far as telling you how to make one fit your machine if it wasn't originally meant for that particular machine). I love that I can make purchases online from my phone without having to call anyone. (Unlike Stenograph who forces you to call a sales number to make a purchase...which they never answer) Stenoworks keep things updated with what's in stock, the search filters are convenient, and the payment options, and buy-back options can set anyone up for success. I'd MUCH rather do business with them than Stenograph. Anytime I've ever tried to make a purchase from Stenograph, there's always been one problem after another that prevents my transaction (found out today that they have a rule where they won't sell accessories to you if you didn't buy your machine directly from them...even if they ARE the manufacturer of your machine!...never knew that in all these years)... I've been a repeat customer with Stenoworks for a few years and have never had an issue. I ALSO never knew how good I had it with Stenoworks until my newest experience with Stenograph. I'll never take Stenoworks for granted again!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I'm not sure whats going on. But theres no way to contact them. There's no one or no way to contact. I called and emailed them all week. Because once I pursed the machine I had a feeling they suddenly go Mia. I have no idea what's going on with this business. There's no customer service or way to contact. I went ahead and disputed with my bank and went with acculaw.

The best stenography superstore in the entire USA!Recently, I contacted StenoWorks, Inc., as I was interested in selling my used Stenograph Wave machine. I had contacted other stores including Stenograph but I was offered a lot less than I expected. In fact, one of those stores' offers was pretty pathetic, to say the least! Not so with StenoWorks! All I had to do was provide a brief description on their website, and submit some pictures, including pictures of the parts that I wanted to add to my sale. Surprisingly, within a matter of minutes, not hours I received a phone call and an email quote about my sale.I was offered a better offer than I had originally expected, and truthfully, I also know that these stores have to make some sort of profit. Having said that, I was not expecting too much! However, I was happy with my offer and I loved the professionalism and respect that they offered to me with regard to my sale. And this was not the first time I had dealt with them. I have known about this store for the past ten years, and they have been in business for more than 30 years!During my time at school, I was able to purchase materials that many big stores no longer sell. For instance, I was able to purchase cassette tapes for my dinosaur tape recorder. Not many Staples stores offer these things and I really don't like dealing with E-bay. Moreover, to make a very long story short, they offer a treasure trove of products from neat carrying cases to all of your court reporter needs! I will continue to use them in the near future and beyond! Thank you!

Hands down, the very best court reporter's treasure chest of supplies and new equipment. Having said that, I have had the pleasure of dealing with them with regard to the sale of my used Stenograph Wave Machine! Mind you my machine was in excellent condition but I was treated fairly and professionally. I spoke to one of the agents there, Sandy and she impressed me with her knowledge and professionalism. And the best part about it was the fact that they offered me a fair trade for the machine and its parts. I was completely happy with their service and to be honest, I have always been happy with their service and products. As I mentioned before, they are literally a treasure chest of supplies for both the court reporter student and the professional. They offer supplies that many large stores like Staples no longer offer. Their store is literally a dream because there isn't anything that I won't find with limitations, of course! Honestly, after my amazing experience, I look forward to purchasing a new machine and anything else I may need. Thank you!

Go to Acculaw for your steno tech. I really wanted to buy my steno tech with Stenoworks, but Stenodidnotwork for me. Desmond at Acculaw is the best!

StenoWorks is great to work with! They are very knowledgeable and assist in all facets of purchasing steno machines so that the court reporter is happy. They also don't try to oversell or push product that they're not sure of, hence my case. All turned out great and I'm happy with my purchase. Plus, a one-year warranty, with a loaner!

I have had no luck reaching customer service. I ordered a refurbished student machine that included some accessories and a warranty. The stand I received did not last a week before one of the legs collapsed. I have not been able to get a response from anyone about getting it replaced. Even if the response is just, "We're sorry, the stand is not covered under the warranty." The lack of communication makes me think the "warranty" is just for show, hopefully nothing goes wrong with my machine.

Very BAD customer service! Said one thing regarding how long it would take to get my machine back from cleaning. Then got too busy to work on my machine, didn’t even call to tell me, then when it wasn’t clear when I would actually receive it, (he kept saying, I’ll try, I’ll try.”). Gave away two days of work because, clearly, I couldn’t count on having it when I needed to work. I was understandably upset, so he proceeded to tell me he would just send it back to me undone!

I had my Diamante serviced at StenoWorks for the first time since I bought it 10 years ago. It came back like brand-new. The communication was very good, and my machine service was expeditious. Also, the price of the service was the best I could find. I will definitely use StenoWorks for all my steno machine servicing needs.

What a find! This place rocks. They sell, repair and rent new and used machines to all over the country. They sell supplies and everything you may need and at very reasonable prices. Very nice people there and very knowledgeable and accommodating. Thank you for being there when I need something fast—which is usually how you need things in this business!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I sent my Elan Cybra in for repair. They returned it to me and the machine still was not working. I was charged a diagnosis fee anyway which is unacceptable. I was also informed that they had a few other Elan Cybras and they cannot figure out how to fix them. Why do they keep having customers send in a machine that they know that they cannot fix? Very unprofessional and unethical company.
