When I signed up for a membership and I was selecting tiers, I asked "can I downgrade at any time?" and I was told yes. Today I was in and I asked to downgrade since I'm not going to use classes and am paying $70/hr for training, and they told me the policy is I have to wait three months. So, gym is fine, no complaints on the training, but keep in mind this is a high pressure sales environment where there is no accountability for lying to you.The lady's suggestion was for me to remember what the guy looked like and seek him out to talk to him, which seems odd, since most sales roles track who makes sales.

I’m being trained by a personal trainer named Ansh. He has changed my life after I herniated a disc last year. I thought I could never workout again because of the pain and was dealing with for over a year. I was afraid to get back in the gym because of what I was dealing with and he is striking and guiding me away from that fear. Slowly but surely I am feeling more confident getting back to where I used to be.

I first the gym 3 times and each time I have a wonderful experience. The staff was very nice and welcoming. And explain how to get a membership very well and thorough. If you don’t listen to what they say, then of course you are going to miss the information that they told you. and if you don’t understand that their memberships are month-to-month, then people shouldn’t have a membership or any month-to-month program. The gym and staff over all is respectful, wonderful and clean

Talan at the front desk is friendly and always willing to help. The gym is always clean; I've never walked in and felt hesitant to use any equipment. Plus, the variety of classes offered keeps things interesting and helps me stay motivated.

So many mixed reviews about Crunch Fitness in Greenacres, FL are on here, but here’s a positive one. Is there a lot of traffic flow? Yes! Is it crowded a lot of the time? Yes! There’s a reason behind that! It’s simply because it’s an overall a great gym! There are a variety of ways to workout and many options! I have been a member for almost two years, and I have loved every minute of it. It’s almost like a home away from home. The staff have been great to me. In all honesty, the staff have become like family there. As for the personal training aspect, the trainers are very knowledgeable about what they are doing to help the client out. Since being at Crunch, I have been with Karleel while being a member. He truly cares about his clients and is eager to get his clients to where they want to be. He’s very transparent! He’s not just my personal trainer, but he’s become like a brother to me. With my program that he routinely changes, he’s always had shown me how to adapt to each program based on the crowd.. Meaning that with my program and if certain machines or equipment is being used that he initially showed me, he has taught me how to do the same movement on different equipment to maximize my workout. Personally, I couldn’t ask for a better trainer. What if he isn’t there one day when I am there, the other trainers are always open to if I have questions to make sure that I am doing the exercise correctlyand effectively. At Crunch, I have a strong support system there and so glad to be a member!

I was shy at first when I switched from Planet Fitness to Crunch. After weeks to months and years of prayer to finding the right place and people to surround myself as encouragement and accountability to my weight loss journey, that prayer has been answered. One of my sweet friends and brother in Christ, invited me over to Crunch and connected me with one of the trainers, Ilyssa. Ilyssa and I have been training together since the start of November 2023. My time at crunch has been so many blessings to me already and it’s only been 3 months now. I am not the most athletic person in the gym so at first it was challenging for me to get committed to Crunch but God has used my trainer Ilyssa in so many ways. Since day one, my trainer has always been there for me and always pushes me through all the exercises we do together. She always changes the exercises a lot and that has helped me not get bored quickly. She has helped me build a better relationship with food and helping me build not only a stronger body but also a stronger mindset. One month in, I lost 5 pounds and I never felt more proud and emotional that this worked way better than trying to lose weight by myself. Having my trainer Ilyssa in my life, has been the best thing for my fitness goals and honestly having a good friend that will take care of me. I never loved the gym so much before in my life and now I go almost everyday! Crunch has been so good at helping and caring for others. The last few weeks, some if not almost all the personal trainers have come up to me to help me or encourage me in my journey. A lot of the regular customers that come in have also eventually come up to me to encourage me to keep going and push through. I honestly can’t wait to see what else is there to come in the future! I encourage anyone to come to Crunch! It is totally worth it!!!

I’ve been going to this gym for a few months now and I have zero complaints. Staff is pretty friendly and the gym is super clean. Also if you’re looking to get trained by someone I’d recommend Larissa, she’s very knowledgeable and pushes you to reach new limits in your fitness journey.

My favorite time is when I go to the gym, and even more so when I go with Ilyssa. I like this place because it is clean and has good machines to train. I think it is congested at some hours. But I like that they always serve you kindly at the front desk. Five Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Ilyssa for being the best at what she does.

Looks like this will be my first review here. This is a solid place to work out and be in your own zone! I've been a member at the gym for almost 2 months now and it's been a good time so far. Crunch gym is a good place if you have a workout planned and are looking for plenty of workout options. It sometimes gets pretty packed later in the day so come early if you can and you won't have any huge interruptions. The workout options are great, but the customer service is rather mid. Not great but not horrible. I've been reading over these reviews of the issues they've had and now I had one of my own.It was a simple issue regarding that my guest did not have a physical copy of her ID although she had her ID on her phone. Then there was a representative who kept repeatedly and bluntly pointing out at the policy at the front desk as if we were looked down upon or something. Didn't feel nice really. At least one of the managers was helpful in providing more information that the other representatives did not, but it still ended up in vain.My guest left then came back with her ID some time later and then posed another problem. I admitted myself and there's a certain time period for my guest to tag along before she cannot enter with me. Once again we were not informed of this AT ALL. Then the same person kept repeatedly and bluntly pointing at the policy sheet with little else information to provide us. So we literally had to go out our way to read the policy and we realized we see a day admission. My sister asked about it and another representative said "Oh that's an option if you want to." At this point when all is nearly lost that's exactly what we wanted! I just wish this was spoken to us a lot sooner. The way the whole situation played out was just embarrassing. I'm not sure if it was the time of day cause it was literally like 8-9PM at the time and everyone just wants to go home, but either way, that whole experience is the reason why the customer service in my opinion can feel rather mid. But don't let that get in the way of your workout! The options here are still great to indulge in. Maybe 4 stars is a bit generous but idk, this gym helped open the doors from my usual comfort zone. Good luck to everyone in your workouts and bodybuilding!

I will forever remember crunch as the gym that refused to cancel my membership for 6 months and charged me $200 when I didn't workout there a single time. The gym that refused to cancel my membership because they couldn't do it in person and corporate couldn't do it because it's a franchised location. I had to visit over 8 times, I called every number that you could, I sent letters, emails, but they refused to cancel my membership.I have never been robbed like this right to my face by another business besides insurance companies.Other locations are fine, only this one is horrible.

I would give this location negative stars if I could. They don't care at all about the customer, only about their money. While I was there, some employees were rude, but some were good. It was frequently crowded and unclean. I paid dutifully, on-time, every month for 16 months. At about 5 months in, I had to move to a new state. I didn't cancel the membership. My son used a club in our new location for about another 5 months. After paying for 16 months and only using any club for roughly 10 months, I called to cancel. I wasn't asking for any money back. I just wanted to cancel the monthly membership. I was given three options. The first was I could come into the club in-person to cancel. This wasn't a viable option as I was over 1200 miles away in a new state. The second option was to write to a PO Box requesting my membership to be canceled. I was told that if I were concerned about the message being delivered to this mysterious PO Box so that I didn't incur any unnecessary charges moving forward, I could deliver it via certified mail. Of course certified mail only works if there's somebody to sign for the mail at the PO Box, which is highly unlikely, and regardless, totally unnecessary. The third option was to transfer my membership to a location near my home in the new state and go to that club, in person, to cancel my membership. I couldn't do a zoom call. I couldn't verify information that only I knew about my account. I couldn't send an email. I couldn't go into a local club who could vouch for my identity and instruct this club to cancel my membership. It seemed to me that they were making it deliberately difficult to cancel a membership, which was totally unnecessary and unwarranted. I finally sorted it out with the help of a local club who called this club on my behalf, but I still had to pay another month's membership fee to this club in Greenacres. I would steer clear of this location. There are two other Crunch Fitness locations near this one. If you are considering Crunch Fitness in this area, investigate the other two locations or just avoid Crunch Fitness altogether.

Recently moved to the area and came from a Crunch that was amazing. Sadly I had the same hopes for this location. Where do I begin? This place is a circus Basically 10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag. Tweens just roaming around w no purpose, people hanging out on equipment, talking, I have to ask at least 2-3 people daily if they're done being on the phone so I can work out. Common courtesy and decency are a thing of the past. Which leads me to my next observation. Due to the size and layout of the location they don't have as much equipment as some locations . I've NEVER felt like I've gotten a complete workout here due to this and the aforementioned issues. Staff is more concerned w socializing, flirting, being seen, and adding to the overall problem of people hanging out on equipment by having lengthy conversations w them while others are waiting. Bottom line, don't come here expecting much. Place is a shit show at any hour I've tried coming for a decent workout. May eventually have to find another gym.

Do not give them a credit card !!!! I used the gym and paid for private trainers, had the best membership but when I got diagnosed with cancer I went into the gym with my pick line sticking out of my arm and explained that I wouldn't be using the gym for quite a while so I wanted to cancel my membership they not only gave me an attitude but then told me that if I wanted to cancel my membership for me and my husband I would first have to pay them the renewal fee for the following year 2024 that I would not be using the gym and I would have to pay the upcoming month for both of us as well. They couldn't care less about me as a person/ customer. I would have gone back if as long as I'm alive but now .... I would never go back, I couldn't believe how they made feel and I was feeling pretty darn bad went I walked in there to tell them. We were regular members for an entire year .

I actually really enjoy coming here every day! Maybe it's the time of day I go, but I always get through my routine without delay or hold ups. Everyone is respectful and mostly good at gym etiquette (ie. putting weights back, wiping down equipment). Machines and weights are in good condition and things are clean. I've worked with the trainers and they are fabulous! My only complaint is the music level. I like a lively gym but the when my noise cancelling headphones at full blast fail to dampen the music on the speakers, it's too loud. I'm going to lose some hearing decibels if I keep this up.

Aside from their pressure sales process to simply get signed up for a membership, I was told multiple times I can bring a guest. I even confirmed after having a membership. I convinced my friend to come with me and he was denied due to having a membership at another location. He was even told at first he couldn’t pay for the day. On a previous visit upon entering I was asked if i was following the gym on social media and they wanted to check, the front desk person asked to see my phone, went into my Facebook and made a post without my permission. All about sales and not about the customer here.
