We stocked up on Christmas decorations for next year and then shopped the women's clothes where we picked out a fun sweater at a decent price. Even though the store was busy, we didn't have to wait in line at the checkout, and the employees were friendly and supplied us with gift receipts. There's also a Starbucks located inside if you need a pick me up.”

Everyone is whining that no one answers the phone so they can waste the clerks time price checking against the Internet and Amazon or that they closed down.

“If you're not shopping at Wal-Mart, you are paying way more than you should for the very same items, and thus wasting your money. In addition, there are many food items that, personally, I have been able to find only at Wal-Mart (eg., as opposed to Winn-Dixie, Publix, Target, Aldi, et al.) At the Fleming Island store there are ample self check-outs, so there is never a wait.”

“I was in the store this morning and was very impressed with one employee in particular. He assisted at self-checkout (all registers at the same time needing assistance). The perfect picture of a multitasking employee that Winn Dixie should be very pleased with. I’ve seen him work in most areas of the store, always with a smile. Travis, you are a treasure!”
