Update: I am replying to the owner who kindly responded. I was not told by the cashier or anyone else I would not be able to return mine otherwise I would not have purchased it. I would love to talk to you about this if you are willing.
I have been going to Ace for years where ever I have lived. I bought a generator at your store and went back to return it and due to the hurricane they said they can not return it although the website says I can and it was unopened. Lies lies lies. Joan at the Hagen Ace Hardware in green cove springs ought to be ashamed of herself. Nobody told me if I bought it that day your return policy would not work. Unacceptable.
I will not be going back to any Ace locations again.

The slogan the helpful hardware place is not just their slogan, they completely mean it. In the midst of preparing for Hurricane Milton. We ran into the best staff we could’ve ever dealt with this morning. We were greeted with kindness, helped with finding everything we needed and also ended up with an additional purchase that we will NOT regret getting during this emergency. A special thank you to the staff at Green Cove Springs Hagen Ace Hardware, Linda, Rodney, Marcus Joan, Nathan,Tina, Melinda, and especially Sam. Without her guidance, we would still be uneasy and Unnecessarily worried. Sam was amazing and I am grateful to be a forever client.

What separates Ace from a lot of other stores is the incredible staff. This store in particular has some of the best customer service you will find anywhere. I have never had a bad experience here. They are always very well staffed, and are very knowledgeable of where everything is in the store. This makes finding what you need fast and easy. The store is consistently clean and everything is pretty well stocked at all times.

Great Customer Service experience with Joseph!
I needed a key made for my truck and Joseph was attentive and extremely responsive in assisting. He went the extra mile to help with getting my key made and programmed even though it is not typically done on the weekend. Thank you!

My wife went into this store and said it was the The crazy experience walking into. She never has been surprised more in her life of how big the place was and nice it was to shop in. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars, is because the location that area is hard to drive in lots of crazy traffic no one knows where they are going so becareful in that parking lot.
