I have been a member for a little more than a year now. Recently, I wanted to change the co-captain and freedom boat of Tampa -Alafia River (now I think owned by Brunswick) is not respecting the contract. They want to charge me $500 and signed a new contract at todays's fees, they claimed that this is an "intern policy" and admitted that is was not part of the contract. I contacted and made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Freedom boat didnt even have the courtesy to reply to the BBB. They jusy ignored the complaint. That is to show how much they care about their members.

Great time as always, nice boat. This is where we go out of almost 50% of the time. Never a bad experience.

Excellent location and service! We stopped in before a flight back to Chicago and this spot was perfect. We boarded a Trophy with a 200hp Mercury Verado and took off for Tampa Bay. We explored the river and downtown, as well as the cruise ship port. Staying between the markers makes this a “ride friendly” club to those of us from the Great Lakes. I would definitely recommend this club!

Great selection to choose from as well as an easy location to leave from. The guys helping were great as well. Easy going out, easy coming back in, that's all I can ask for. Great experience.

Reed the dock master there is very friendly and accommodating. If you call him for a same day boat, he will do everything he can to get you on the water. Great location and plenty of boats.

Conviently located dockyard with a good size yard to drydock your boat. Freedom boat club is also out there. We at Island Vacation Travel Agency Llc highly recommends them. Really nice chill river side bar next door

This is my go-to location for boating. Everyone there are professional and make the boating experience very easy. Dropped a buddy off to work on his boat. Freedom was busy. Looks dated but the patrons like it. Easy access since it is right on the Alafia river to the Gulf of Mexico....

That Tritoon is a great boat, but guys working the dock, like Lil Lou, are hard working, kind and professional. Another great Freedom Boat Club day.
