Family Animal Hospital treated my min pin for years before she passed due to medical issues. They were fantastic through the entire process. I recently took in a rescue 106 pound mix breed who started having seizures after I (SADLY) decided to change him from comfortis to Trifexis. Staff and physicians both have been there during every challenging step trying to get him on proper meds to help maintain/ prolong the seizures. Highest kudos to this facility for how much they care about their fur baby patients

Love this! Vet can't stress that enough. We left out last vet because they weren't paying attention to us and listening to our concerns. Family animal hospital is 180° turn from that they listened and created a detailed point of action, including timelines of when we should see changes to help us with our cats problem. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet

My Boston, Jack, just had his annual checkup and it was one of the best he's received. I made his appointment in the office when I picked up his prescription. I showed up on time and did not wait; we were taken right to a room. The nurse was great with Jack as well as the doctor. This is a wonderful practice. They really care about our fur babies.

I have been going to Family Animal Hospital for a year and find everyone(especially Dr. Bannon) to be very caring and compassionate. My cat needed oral surgery in October and the care was exceptional. Would highly recommend!!

I have been bringing my three furry family members to Family Animal Hospital for the past 2 years. It has been a wonderful experience. Dr. Anna and Dr. Sparta are extremely caring and loving veterinarians that treat your family members as if they were their own. They helped me get our Abby through cancer, and as far as I'm concerned, they saved her life. The moment you walk through the doors, you feel like family. Your pet is their pet, and their care runs deep.

The staff here are super friendly! I loved how the vet sat on the floor the entire time while talking to me so my dog could get comfortable and sniff her. My options were explained thoroughly to me and I didn’t feel pressured at all. The follow up email the next day to see how my dog was doing was so thoughtful. I’d definitely recommend this vet to my friends and family!

I love this animal hospital. My little girl is my life and they treat her exactly as I do when I bring her in. That means the world to me. They know how sensitive I am about her and are very attentive and sensitive to my needs and feelings. Michelle, Carla, Tracy, Crystal and all the team just goes above and beyond to be supportive and caring. Blue has been with Dr. Anna for most of her life and I trust Dr. Anna tremendously.
Update: I have since moved out of the area but I literally will travel back to have Dr Anna treat my lil yorkie. Her knowledge is beyond honest and trustworthy. I have a local vet for immediate treatments but will always follow up with Dr. Anna on their diagnosis and her feedback. When it comes to animal care, there is no level to rate this animal hospital and Dr. Anna. If you want top notch care for your fur babies, you have it here with every single employee! I can’t thank them

Just had my Yorkie's (Bruno) teeth cleaned. We were a bit stressed because Bruno does not like the vet, but he did great and he was up and running around immediately after the procedure.
Very happy with the Vet who explained the process, costs involved, and updated us on what Bruno was pending (shots, etc).
Best Veterinary team ever!

so after going to Pet Clinic in Bradenton for 20+ years are Vet retired and sold his clinic to a chain. We were looking for a similar experience and my children's mom who has many years in the Pet Care business as a Tech and working for Animal Services referred me to Family Animal Hospital. I have a 13 year old Mississipi Black Tongue Cur Dog that originally was a Foster Dog. We got him when he was two and it appears he was not trained properly or around many people or other dogs. He is very weary of strangers. My first experience was to try to purchase heart worm medication and FAH did not sell my brand. However I went in there and the receptionist signed me up with Chewy for it and I even got a discount. Our first visit with our dog was outstanding. The Tech was very kind and we discussed what he needed. No pressure for anything he did not need. Then the VET came in and sat on the floor with Pluto (our dog) as he was very nervous. By being patient and taking her time Pluto was able to obtain a comfort level for shots and exams. Pluto could sense she was kind and compassionate. Thank you Family Animal Hospital. Also there rates and fees were very good.

As with all Great VETS they are very expensive. With that being said they are kind, caring, loving people who make you feel more than a number waiting to be helped. They provided the best experience I've had at a vet in 6 years.
