Anyone that knows me knows that normally I'm not a boastful person, but in order to tell the truth, I must boast. The truth is everywhere I go people tell me that "you have amazing hair," "your hair is beautiful," or "who does your hair?" The truth is I do not have amazing hair. What I do have is AJ. My "natural" hair is dark brown, gray, and frizzy. No one knows/remembers that because they think what I have now is my natural hair because AJ makes it look so natural. I only wish I had discovered AJ earlier because it makes a difference when you know your hair looks great.

AJ started cutting my hair in 1997 when she worked at Haile Plantation Spa. So for the next 10 years she took me from wet cuts to the wonderful dry cut method learned in NY from John Sahag. She is the absolute best at everything she does with your hair. A true designer taking the whole person into account. I love her peaceful salon, Zoetic Design, and feel special every time I'm there. No matter where I move, I always manage to get in to see her. Thanks AJ for 21 years ! Sue

I recently moved to Gainesville and needed a new hairdresser which is stressful for anyone who cuts their hair!! My partner and recommended her hairdresser and I absolutely love AJ. She is an artist and will work with you in terms of how to style and the type of cut that will work for you. The studio has a Zen quiet and peacefulness about it. Although this is a bit of a drive for me in Alachua it is worth the trip!!

AJ has been cutting my hair for almost 25 years. I love that she uses the dry cut method. She's been a master trainer for this technique for the John Sahag company out of NY city and her skill level shows. She is also a master at color...she really knows her stuff and is a real chemist. She knows what will work on your hair type. I routinely get compliments on my hair and can honestly say I'd recommend AJ to anyone looking for a top stylist. Let me add that AJ owns her salon and limits the number of stylists that work there. It is not unusual for AJ to be the only stylist working which provides a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. I also love the soft playing music in the background. Check it out!

AJ transformed my hair potential with her cutting techniques and I have never had such hair volume in my life. I have had dry cutting from someone trained in Italy once, but AJ is a master. She sculpts hair and leaves no cut lines, just shape and volume. I have baby fine poker straight sparse thin hair and I used to spend $500+ on high maintenance extensions that took hours to put in. No more. Since I met AJ, I have volume and an easy versatile style that grows out without needing reshaping. And I enjoy AJ's company. She is strong, talented, beautiful, stylish, current, and relevant. I trust her with my hair completely and I recommend her to my friends who appreciate a good find in the beauty industry.
