We were traveling in FL from a different state and gave them a call due to our A/C not working and our car was brand new. It was close to closing time and the service guy (I now wish I remembered his name) was helpful in suggesting a troubleshoot for the problem and it helped tremendously. I love the VW company, but this center gave me even more confidence in choosing to be loyal to VW. He not only took our call, but stayed on the phone with us while it was rebooting. I am so appreciative of such a simple gesture of time and support, especially that it was successful! Thank you so much!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Before you trade or buy a pre-owned vehicle from this place, I would think twice!!! The car we traded in for has spent more time at the dealership then we have even had it and now we are asked to pay an additional 6K on top of the $1300.00 we paid for a thermostat. The thermostat issues. We paid for an extended warranty, well that didn't kick in until 30 days after the sale. A good service manager would have said, hey let's wait 2 days so that we can have that covered under the warranty. NOPE!! THEY DON'T CARE!!! They did cover the towing!! How nice of you to take ownership of that part. I'm sure it was built into the 6k somewhere. This has been the WROST experience we have ever had trading in a car. It is VERY apparent that whoever did the intake on this car MISSED a lot of problems. No worries, I will update my review everywhere for everyone to see so they can avoid this from happening to them..

A hidden GEM for ccs fast charging.A top off station!If you’re going from Springfield Illinois to Davenport, Bloomington or Geneseo this stop is the boost you need! Our first visit was very welcoming and simple!It doesn’t show how much you pay. We were surprise that charging from 52% to 80% was $5.00, after our bank clear the $50 hold.We came back on a Sunday from Geneseo. The car dealer was closed, but we did charge up easy! 60% to 85% charge up. We Made it back to Springfield with 42% battery left.

The dealership is a complete scam. They advertise a new ceviche pricing and when you get there they ask for a 10k dealer profit. So they 47k a is now 57k. That must think they have gullible buyers. This dealership can sell their cars to someone else. I went to another vw dealership and go the same car for sticker price. Yes I had to drive farther but for 10k I would go anywhere.else but this ripoff.

I thoroughly recommend getting your car serviced here. I was quickly greeted at the desk by a nice man that walked me through every detail of my appointment. I have always been worried about getting told that I need to buy all of these extra things but he was clear and gave me options (with varying prices). I was not pressured to buy any additional services but they did provide future advice which I appreciated. Overall, great experience and definitely will come back!

Been going to vw for pass months! Keep getting 12 volt battery not charging, start your engine! They just do not want to give me another battery. Seen to be waiting on time to expire on battery. I'm not happy about this!! Calling or showing up each week! 3:24 am unable to sleep worried about my car battery. Vw want me to leave my car for hours and get someone to pick me up while they wait to see when my car show battery not charging, start the car to charge ! I feel like I'm being discriminate against! Update !! feeling better today! Like weight off my shoulders! Was given a new battery! Thank God !!! ( changed my rating due Edwin and his always willing to help)!

The sales team was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately it stopped there, as I was told I would need to pay for multiple unnecessary dealer fees. I decided not to purchase with them and would encourage others to know their rights, esp with regard to the recent FTC regulations around junk fees and bait & switch (hklaw.com/en/insights/pu…).Their prices are low for a reason, they make it up in unneccessary fees.

What can I say about these people they're actually really good. David was very polite and explain what's going on with the supply shortage. And told me if they can't get the part within a certain time period that he would get me a rental car until the car could be fixed. Super friendly super polite. I know that we may have started off on a rough note but I truly trust this man with my car now. Keep being you David.

worst Volkswagen experience of my life!!! for reference my family and I have been driving volkswagons for 18 years. this weekend I was visiting a friend at uf and my check engine light came on. I made a 12:30 appointment at gainsville vw and once I arrived was told I'd have to leave my car overnight and it would be $250 just to run a diagnostic!!! about 10 minutes after giving the guy my info I told him I changed my mind and wanted to leave, and that I especially didn't want to pay 250$ for them to possibly tell me nothing was wrong and it was a faulty sensor. The man responded with something along the lines of "wouldn't you rather spend $250 now than have to get a new car if urs blows up?". call me crazy but that is absolutely unprofessional and ESPECIALLY not something you should say to a worried young girl. Volkswagen, do better.

My daughter lost her key she drives a 2016 Passat we called the dealer to do a brand new key and cut it and program they charge us $453 and nothing was done right they reprogram the key to open and close the doors they only cut the key they still charge us $180 to program which it wasn't done thank you Volkswagen of Gainesville Florida incident happen on 27 April 2022 gave customer service specially that guy named Chris that works with you guys and F plus people don't go to the dealer they will steal from you......

classic bait and switch. I used their online system to reserve a test drive on a new golf gti that was pictured and listed on their website. I quite literally clicked on the icon under the cars listing to reserve a drive. The next day I show up and they want to sell me a 1 year old golf with 26k miles for more than the new car was listed at? When I asked if they in fact had a new one they said no they sold it last week!

Used this place a few times for the last couple years and they are generally good. Prices are high, but that's expected for most dealership service centers and their prices aren't egregious. They will try to upsell you services on occasion and not give you the advertised discounts unless you go to the the website or bring in a flyer which is a pain, but understandable and nothing more than a mild inconvenience. Most experiences have so far been decent to good, but this last one made me decide to no longer come back here. I asked for the a 30,000 service per the user manual and they went ahead told me that I needed a break fluid flush, as I had used this place before I trusted them, they did the service and we're cordial for the visit, but when I checked my user manual it said nothing about needing a break fluid flush. Just that I needed it's levels to be checked. I'm willing to accept this as a lesson to trust but verify so I decided to not argue or give them a call back, but I have decided to no longer come back to this place as they have now lost my trust and if you use this place(or are deciding to) I would recommend being skeptical and checking the user manual or getting a second opinion.Services: General repairs & maintenance

This place was simply put the best! Chris and Matt were so helpful and professional. My car broke down 2 hours into a 30 hour drive on 4th of July weekend and they made it as easy as possible for the circumstances! Would definitely recommend them, you won't be disappointed!
