During my mothers recent visit to the UPS Store, she encountered an incredibly disappointing situation involving an employee named Kristin. My mother, faced a distressing interaction when she simply asked where to place the return paperwork. Kristin's response was shockingly dismissive and unsympathetic: "That's yours, put your phone away and read the instructions; that's not my problem."While I am empathetic to the possibility that Kristin might have been having a difficult day, her conduct was entirely unbecoming of someone in a customer service role. Addressing basic inquiries with courtesy and helpfulness is fundamental in fostering positive customer experiences, and sadly, Kristin failed to meet even the most basic standards in this regard.This incident underscores a broader concern within the service industry. As automation increasingly encroaches on traditional job roles, exemplary customer service becomes increasingly crucial in distinguishing businesses. It is disheartening to witness behavior like Kristin's, which only serves to reinforce the need for automation over human interaction.Regrettably, instances like these contribute to the erosion of trust and satisfaction among customers. In today's competitive market, exceptional customer service is paramount to retaining clientele and maintaining a positive reputation. Employees like Kristin, who demonstrate a lack of understanding of their pivotal role in customer satisfaction, not only harm the reputation of the establishment but also hinder its success.I strongly urge the management of the UPS Store to address this matter promptly. This location was actually helpful. I went to the 34th street and 20th location in Gainesville, and they were not as helpful, and would not take my return, and wanted to charge me for one strip of tape to close the box. I came to my UPS store by my house, and they were exceptionally helpful. The one gentleman even told me how to get my return label because the other location messed up my return by creating but not taking my package. This location helped me figure out who to call, and how to get it done. And didn’t try and charge any extra fees for basic service. Top notch customer service here! Way to go guys!!

I just wanted to take a minute to recognize Emilee Graf. She is an outstanding employee with superb Customer service skills.I went yesterday to inquire for options for shipping to Germany.. Most were very expensive. She spent extensive time continuing to search until she found a reasonable rate.My husband and I went back today and she remembered me and was more than happy to assist me. There were multiple glitches in the process, but she kept on trying. She made multiple calls and did not give up. Unbelievable patience. There was only one other associate working and the line was out the door. She did not let that frustrate her.It ended up taking between 45-60 minutes, but she made it happen.You are fortunate to have such an outstanding employee. Please recognize her.Update: The package was to arrive in 7-21 business days and it arrived in less than 7!
