Attention Scam Alert!!! These guys are no honor/ethics business men. They say that they are protecting property rights and that it is the fault of the owner of the car. However, in reality the only ones that win are ultimate towing. The property owner say that it hurts his business because customers are getting towed for almost no reason and it causes undue stress on the person parking because you never know when you will get towed. These guys are sleazy gangsters with a business model that is all about short term gains.

The people weren't nice at all, they didn't want to fully explain what was happening with the towing experience. Would've appreciated some more empathy about the towing experience, especially because they are the ones who mark their prices, tow at their pleasure and almost ruin people's days due to their business. I get that they have a running business, but to get good reviews it takes being nice to people, understanding them and giving them better advice for next time. Sorry whoever else gets towed by them!

This company is being ran by some trailer park drug addicts! They will go in your car and if you have anything of value the will take it, when they towed my car they only had it for an hour and took over a $1000 out of my arm rest. When asked about it the lady at the front desk claimed they don't and didn't need to go in my car because its a newer model car. After the police arrived they told them yes they did have to go in my car. I have a few Law buddies from UF looking in to this and many cases like this that they are involved in. They have messed with the wrong person this time and they will pay WE PROMISE!!!

I didn't want to believe what the reviewers was saying but the lady I spoke to today at 3:42pm was really rude. I called about my car and she had told me how much it was. When I asked her how is that she catches an attitude and start speaking fast, saying that I shouldn't be listening to the recording. I ask the woman her name and she just flip out talking about I have the attitude and don't call her out her name. Who ever she is, she shouldn't be in customer service. This is the rudest person, I have ever talked too and she makes the company looks bad.

Unfortunately I've dealt with Ultimate two times and both times they were very unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with. Not only are they shady and crooked they're theives. If you have any valuables in your car its almost a guarantee they will be missing after coming in contact with Ultimate Towing of Gainesville. I will be reporting them to The Better Business Bureau!!!

This tow company preys upon students and the unsuspecting good people in this town. They hide behind statutes and they constantly are using shady practices. One day this business is going to get shut down and thousands of people are going to rejoice

Ultimate towing is an employer of at least one low life, butt picking, worthless pile of s**t. I had to wait for 2 hours for someone to get to the office to release my car. The voicemail clearly said after 1 hour there would be a rate reduction. When I told the driver that at the gate he told me to get out of his way and then sped up, about run my foot over. Then this fat l**** tried to tell me that he sees "kids" like me everyday driving mommy and daddy's car... Blah blah blah. Making assumptions is a good way to look like a d*** f**k, which I'm sure you're used to with your mediocre lives and even more s**t business. I would have loved to have put my hands on this guy, he was real tough behind that desk. It was real hard to not catch an assault charge dealing with this company. This was over a year ago, people don't forget! Karma is a bi*ch.

While I have a serious problem with the reason why I was towed, I have posted that to Sun Center's page, so I am not here to write about that.I am, however, absolutely appalled by the customer service I was provided at Ultimate Towing. I was towed last night and when I went to pick up my car (~7pm) I was told by a younger woman (Casey) I could not dispute anything related to why I was towed until the manager came in tomorrow [today] and he's in from 10am-4pm. Perfectly reasonable.I show up just after 10am (after taking time off from work so I could make the trip). The middle aged woman working the window (I never caught her name) told me Drew wasn't in yet. I explained my frustration with taking time off to be here during a time he's supposed to be available. I waited 10 minutes at the window for her to text him and wait for his reply back. I was told she could not provide his cell number to me when I asked for it. Then a nice driver fellow, Lee, came over to see how he could help. After "a couple" of tries to call him, Lee reached Drew and apparently Drew would only be in starting at noon and "only for a little bit"...rather ambiguous.I explain to both the woman and Lee that I have a lunch appointment at noon and there's no way I'll be there at that time, but perhaps if Drew stays around, I'll be free after my appointment. After all, he was going to be around "for a bit", so maybe I could catch him afterwards. I ask to leave my phone number so that Drew can call me when he arrives-- my assumption was he would have some idea of how long he'd be at the company so maybe I could meet him. Lee provides me with a sticky note and I provide my name, cell number, and car info (make/license plate/etc). And give it back to him. He brings it inside the office where the woman is. I leave. My appointment ended just after 1pm. Immediately afterwards I call the office-- I hadn't received a call so I think maybe I haven't missed him. The woman picks up and says Drew was at the company at noon and waited for me but I never showed up!!! My mind is blown. I made is explicitly clear I was not going to be there at noon. There's absolutely no reason he should've been "waiting" for me. I also provided my phone number!! Ignoring all reason and logic for a second, even if for some reason there was any confusion about me being able to be there/versus not be there (which, again, there wasn't): 1) Why would I leave my phone number if I had planned on meeting him there? I would've just shown up, right? 2) If he were expecting me and I didn't show up...my phone number is right there! Why would he not call me?! When someone is late to an appointment I have with them, I call to confirm/see what's happening!I was beside myself-- honestly, speechless. When I was finally able to put together a sentence, I asked if my phone number was there on the sticky note. It was, in fact. She did have my note.I finally ended the conversation asking when Drew would be in again. Of course, he was not going to be in for the rest of the day and he'd be back Monday. Here's a manager of a business who couldn't deal with a customer because he only comes in less than 1 hour that day. And I get it-- maybe there was an emergency-- but having worked in retail and customer service myself, I would at least call the customer during the time I am available and say "hey, I got your message that you want to talk about this, here's my cell number, let's set up a time".I got absolutely nothing. And I'm leaving for field work on Monday in Africa and will not be back til April. I am disgusted. I get that people rarely have positive experiences with towing companies, but again, I'm not complaining about the reasoning here. The customer service to try to resolve this was absolutely atrocious. A complete waste of nearly 24 hours of my life.Edit 2/11- A Sun Center property representative requested that Ultimate Towing refund me 1/2

A cesspool of illegal activities, incompetent, rude employees, and poor management. When I called them to see if they have towed my vehicle they had lied to my twice, saying that they didn't tow it. I had to file a stolen vehicle report with the police station, only to find out they had towed it. They had deliberately lied to me about it. Absolutely terrible place. I suggest people file complaints with the BBB to have someone investigate them.

"I take damage complaints seriously and can easily review any tow from any angle. Damage is exceptionally rare, but if it occurs my company takes responsibility and makes the person whole." - a quote from a review response written by Stephen J. O'GradyMy friend had her car towed a few weeks back, which she did improperly park and is not expressing that she didn't. But what she is (rightfully) upset about is the fact that this comany messed her vehicle up and they refuse to even talk to her about it. The night she got her car back, we drove away and immediately made a u-turn to go back to the business. My friend told the lady at the front that her car was making a noise it was not making before the tow (which is true,I rode with her before the tow and after). The lady then gave her a number to call in the morning. I knew right then and there my poor friend was about to get the run around because that is shady. My friend called repeatedly throughout the week and was told "she would have to talk to the driver", "the owner and the driver isn't here at the moment", all week long this went on. Come to find out the owner was the driver. She went to the business today with her father (they don't even live in Gainesville, they live and hour away so the fact that they had to physically go there to speak with the management about this discrepancy speaks volumes to the type of business Stephen O'Grady is running) they tried speaking with Stephen and he did not even get out of the vehicle. My friend, a young woman who hasn't ever had to deal with swindling business men before was shaking as she tried telling him her issue and he kept being dismissive of her. What kind of businessman are you sir? My friend tried telling you that her car is messed up because of something that YOU did, not only did she have to pay for being towed, she's going to have to pay to fix the damages you caused because you don't even know how to properly do your job? You didn't give her a chance to speak with you, you staued in your truck and kept trying to drive away, and told her "I don't care. Sue me. It costs 295 to file a claim".Is that how you play ball Stephen? You fear monger and berate people into just giving up? Not only are you a TERRIBLE businessman, you are a horrible human. I've read plenty of reviews abot you, and your responses to them and you are nothing but a lowlife and a swindler.Response to your response: since I have no way to communicate with you and cannot leave another review, I hope you are able to see this response. My friend just called up there and asked for Stephen. Lo and behold you were there. So, I d don't know if you just got back into town and it was some other employee she dealt with earlier, but they really shouldn't have been telling my friend "I don't care" and "sue me!" and "a claim is 295". I'm not sure what kind of superiority complex your workers have that they think they an speak to customers like that, without the actual authority of being the boss. So my suggestion (if that wasn't you as you claim) would be to train your employees better in the feild of customer servie.Secondly, whoever my friend and her father talked to obviously wasn't listening very attentively because they never said they had a problem with the air conditioning. She said the tires and her frame was damaged. The part you are confusing is when she explained she had just gotten a check up and the only thing that was wrong with her vehicle was her air conditioning. That she had gotten fixed and has documentation that she went and had it fixed and there was nothing else wrong.

The slowest most hard headed people I've ever dealt with. Guy on the phone basically had to sound out the words to talk coherently. Towed my car for parking in my complex. Got the car after office hours so couldn't get a sticker, car was towed within 4 hours.

This crooked bussiness is a fine example of Predatory towing. They apparently stalked me and took pictures of me leaving the sun center..but told me I had to come back the next day to retrieve these pictures. Apparently, from other reviews, you cant step even one foot off sun center property with out being stalked from a bush..and I am not admitting that I left. These crooks towed me less than 10 minutes after I got to the sun center.I have lived here my whole life and I am very unhappy..I have never been towed. These people are parasites that prey on college studentsWhat a rip offUltimate garbage.

I was recently towed by Ultimate Towing, and I understand it is my fault for parking in the wrong spot. But to see the way they were going about towing people was unbelievable. I watched a tow truck enter a parking lot I had parked at downtown and tow a Jeep and speed away in less than 2 minutes. The tow truck had the Jeep on sideways and obviously did not care about damaging the car or other cars nearby. It would have run over anyone in its way and was definitely going above the speed limit. Once I got to the site to get my car, the tow truck drivers were earnestly waiting to find the next person they could tow to make another $100. After speaking to the police, I will definitely report any of the tow trucks I see recklessly driving again. I honestly would have had the police come to the parking lot I was at to see them treating others cars with such recklessness if I wasn't in a hurry to get somewhere else.

Towed my car because of a decaying parking decal. I have been a resident at my apartment complex for over a year with no issues at all when it comes to this. The parking lot was basically empty and its obvious that Ultimate Towing is just trying to make a quick dollar. To make matters worse, the employee working was completely unsympathetic and rude to everything that was being said and was a complete a**hole. Bunch of pri**s trying to take advantage of already struggling college students and barely looking at the fact that my decal was still on the car. Absolutely awful and outrageous conductance of towing and service from staff.

Towed my truck for expired tag. One week expired. I asked why they didn't leave a warning like they did for my wife that had no tag at all. They said "sometimes we do sometimes we don't". I understand its a business but Jesus show some human decency to your fellow man. Most police officers won't even ticket you for having a barely expired tag.
