We were recently moved by 2 College Brothers. Brandon and DC did a smooth, professional job of moving our items from a third floor apartment to a condo. They are 2 nice guys who are strong and smart. Faith in the office was also pleasant to work with. We highly recommend this moving company.

I have moved way too many times in my life, and I have never had a good experience.....until today. Matt and Tyreek showed up on time, with smiles on their face, and were two of the most personable gentlemen I have met. They looked at what needed to be accomplished, and then got right to work (with smiles and great conversation). They were respectful to my wife which is a big bonus. I don't leave reviews often, but I will 100% give credit where credit is due. 2 College Brothers Moving Gainesville has all my future moving business, and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone in need of moving services. Again, Matt and Tyreek were awesome!

I was put off by the attitude of the one mover, they sent three. He was the one in charge. He for sure knew what he was doing with moving things and had to direct the other two. It was just incredibly stressful and I could not wait for them to be gone. I'm older. I used to be able to do things on my own and I can't anymore. Letting people into your home and handling your personal things is stressful in itself. I felt the leader was disrespectful and made fun of me being older. I'm not sure why that's ok in today's society but it seems so. He made constant noises and when he called for me to ask a question it was in a high pitched weird voice, sort of imitating a cat. I did at one point tell him I was not sure if I should be offended by his high pitched woman voice imitation- trying to give him notice to stop. He did not. It did seem as his two helpers were made a little uncomfortable by it also. They moved my stuff, thought it was made more stressful than it needed to be, and I probably won't use them again. The person I spoke to on the phone was polite - too bad he didn't do the move.

Damaged multiple pieces of my furniture. Extremely inefficient with the moving process to rake up hours (ie increase their pay). Unresponsive business owner. Very poor experience.

HORRIBLE! Apparently you have to give one star to post. Prior to the day of their arrival you give a detailed inventory, for an estimate & so they're prepared; however, they were not. They were suppose to arrive between 8-9 AM & arrived at 9:30 AM. All of my inventory did not fit on the 26ft truck. At 3 PM they told me if I rent a Uhaul at my expense, they will move the remainder of my items. Due to time constraints this was not an option. Upon moving my items to the 2nd location, some of my items were damaged (scratched and chipped). While at the 2nd location I had to tell 2/3 guys to get off their cell phones because I was paying them by the hour (at $270 an hour). It took them 10 hours to move a 1300 sqft home where two bedrooms were already empty. Once they left the 2nd location (a 10x25ft storage unit), it appeared the unit was full; however, it took myself and another person 2 hours to rearrange boxes because they packed the storage unit with multiple empty areas. Which makes me believe all of my inventory could have fit on the truck. The final price was $1,000 more than the highest estimated price they quoted. They did give me a 2 hour discount due to my items not fitting on the truck; however, it took a full day and two people to move my remaining items into the storage unit. They then offered another $200 for my hassle if I wouldn't write this review. I didn't accept the extra $200 in hopes I would save someone from this horrible experience, excessive cost and their own time and labor.

This company has very great reviews. Nick, one of the guys that work for them, is a very good worker. He really takes pride in taking care of the clients property. Such a respectful young man.

BEWARE! They send professional looking adults for the quote, very responsive and polite. After you sign the contract you will only deal with children. Hunter called to let us Know that the guys will be on their way in the morning. The next morning the teenage movers were an hour late because their truck wouldn't turn on had to leave the truck on running for the whole move which was over four hours then they couldn't fit All of our stuff in the truck because They didn't know how to organize it. Left for two hours and came back to take another two hours to finish filling up. They also didn't bring mattress bags even though we had specifically requested our mattresses to be covered and now they're scratched and dirty. At the time Hunter was unreachable by them and by us. When dropping off notice several items were damaged including our TV. They proceeded to build our bed but decided to leave off all the washers so now it rattles. They also lost the screws to our TV base and decided to put random screws in there and left the base just hanging off the TV. I've been trying to put in a claim with the insurance company ran by Terry who is useless and is impossible to reach. I have sent in our claim and all I get in return is we didn't get those pictures. I'm still waiting on a reply regarding our claim and how much we will actually get back. There was no regard for our stuff or respect for anything we owned. Would avoid them like the plague there's got to be better moving companies out there!!

PLEASE READ!!!! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY..... THEY ARE A SCAM... I didn't have that much furniture to move and was quoted $620.00. I knew there was something wrong when the movers showed up an hour late at the house we were moving too instead of the house we were moving from. The funny thing is they charged me for this time too.I had only a few furniture items only and it should have only taken 3 hours maybe 4 and it ended up taking 12 hours. They wanted to charge me $1700.00 dollars. But it gets worse they scratched my new dinning room table and chairs my message chair, and my other big chair and ottoman. They damaged the woodwork putting the washer and dryer into my laundry room. My other house I sold they put deep gauges into the beautiful wood floors and refused to come and take care of it before closing. These People give you an estimate knowing every attention they are just going to take their time because that is how they make money scamming people. Like Hunter said ( the Manager) it's just an estimate and they charge per hour. SO THE LONGER THEY TAKE THE MORE MONEY THEY CAN CHARGE YOU..... They made very bad decisions and were very unprofessional and very uncaring with my valuables. When it came to claims that is a joke too because the lady Teri I think is the Owner and she is very BIASED and makes up her own rules as she feels fit. She knows each and every employee like they are her on Employees so you can tell this is not going to be a real claim. Another Scam.... Stay far away from this Company everyone says use Two Men and a Truck....

Had a terrible experience using 2 College Brothers. My husband and I moved from Gainesville to the West Coast of Florida in July. The movers who showed up to help pack not only arrived late, but were extremely unprofessional in the way they packed our belongings and especially the way they packed the truck. While we are not professional movers, we have moved enough times to know that you always pack a truck with the largest and heaviest items first. Not wait to the end to discover that the sectional "just won't fit". The packers took an obscene amount of time considering we packed alongside them and packed double the amount of boxes they did. Constantly taking breaks and joking around made the process take even longer. They ruined walls in the rental home and ruined most if not all of our belongings. The next day was the actual moving day and that was also a disaster. The amount of time it took to move was outrageous. Never in my life has it ever taken 17 hours to move and unload a truck. The movers did not have the proper equipment to actually move the items from the truck to our new apartment. They had to borrow our personal dolly because they had only packed one with the truck. Long story short is all of our belongings were destroyed and the amount of money lost between having to pay for the move and buy new furniture was unacceptable. All we wanted to do was speak with the owner and that seemed to be impossible. Left countless messages and received no call backs. My husband finally received a call from one of the office managers at the end of September requesting payment. As it was time to move on from this awful experience, we agreed to a 25% discount, but are forever left with a bad taste in our mouths. I do not care what they quote you, you're better off finding another moving company.

This was my third or fourth move with them. I used them when they just started. Very expensive I paid for pick up storage and delivery due to COVID you only have two hours to move in. I called several times to explain this and it was in my registration. Needless to say they called at 9:30 to say they will be there soon but they didn't show up until 11:00. I kept calling and they didn't answer the phone I finally got someone and I was upset and raising my voice she hung up on me. I kept calling back and again finally got someone and they were trying to find out what happened. He lowered my delivery cost but it was still not Worth the stress and heartache they caused me and my son Spoke to wade the owner he apologized but still not a good experience. I would make sure anyone using them and have a time frame to move stay on top of them. By the way they also brought us someone else's stuff and we returned it. The mover she was nice and apologized and tried to help.

Extremely disappointed with customer service. I had booked a move for July 31st but had to cancel it because of a family emergency. I called MULTIPLE TIMES throughout MULTIPLE DAYS. Now, I checked the hours and thought "well, maybe the hours have changed due to COVID, so I'll call later in the day to see if they'll pick up." They didn't. The first few times I called, no one answered and I tried to leave a voicemail. Mailbox was full. Understandable. I call the next morning, no one picks up, and I was able to leave a voicemail. Sounds to me like they emptied the mailbox which was great. I wait two days, and no one calls me back. I call several more times, and leave another voicemail. I WAIT TWO MORE DAYS, AND NO ONE PICKED UP. In my voicemail, I also wanted to ask if the $100 I deposited was refundable because when you book a move, you need to put a $100 to secure your booking. So, I got fed up of waiting to call the next day and sent an email asking to cancel my move and ask if I could be refunded. I wake up this morning to an email, an AUTOMATED EMAIL, that my move was canceled. Okay, that's good. My original objective was done. However, the fact that no one wanted to answer my simple question of a refund was already making me angry. I called this morning twice to ask about the refund. And again, it went straight to voicemail. The first few times I called, I figured it was because of COVID and I'd been lenient. But now that it's been over a week, I'm done being patient. Had someone picked up to tell me they're understaffed or even mentioned it in the voicemail, I would've understood. 1) ALL of my calls were ignored and NO ONE thought to call me back even AFTER I left two voicemails2) They clearly didn't care when I voiced my concerns in an email that I simply wanted answers for a refund and a cancellation. Cancellation was done but I guess they figured it would be easier to just cancel the move without having to deal with a paying customer.3) I had heard great things about this moving company and saw so many great reviews about their services. This was a huge let down. Customer service is a big part of what makes someone want to pay for your services. Next time, when I move, I think I'll just stick to moving furniture myself.

Lance and Nick at 2 College Brothers were AMAZING!!! I had to have my son's dorm room packed up and moved to a storage facility while my son and I were in Chicago (Corona virus closing of UF). Lance and Nick showed up on time (they called to let me know they were there) and FaceTimed so that my son could direct them as to which items needed to be boxed and sent back to Chicago. They packed up all the other items and took them to the storage facility and unloaded them into the storage unit. They then went to UPS and sent the box of stuff my son needed back to Chicago. They were polite, patient and they communicated with me every step of the way. I highly recommend them to anyone needing to move.

2 College Brothers Moving and Storage did a fantastic job. Our job was somewhat complicated with pick up of items at a storage unit, followed by pickup of items at a Gainesville home and taking some to another Gainesville home and the remainder to a St Augustine home, followed by haul away of remaining items at first Gainesville home. The quote was given in person the day following the initial contact. The move happened 2 days later. The movers, Josh and Nolan, did an excellent job and went above and beyond to help us. They were a pleasure to work with The cost for the move was below what I expected. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend 2 College Brothers Moving and Storage
