My pup has vet anxiety, and as a result, so do I, haha. This past week, we met with Dr. Gruntmeir for our dog's annual exam and had the best possible experience one can have at the vet. She was patient with our anxious girl and answered every question we had fully. I've been to other vets where I felt rushed through, but not here. She really took her time to make sure we had addressed all of our concerns and left with a healthy dog. Thanks Dr. Gruntmeir and the fantastic staff at Newberry Animal Hospital Springhill!

Dr. Hall at Springhill removed a huge tumor from my 13 year old cats mouth. It was a very difficult surgery that literally saved his life. She is my angel and hero. She’s always so warm, kind, and professional. I just love her!

Newberry Animal Hospital has been the best veterinary experience I have ever had in my 10+ years of pet ownership. They got my kitten scheduled the same day after an unfortunate injury. They explained everything to me in detail, went over price estimates, showed me the x-rays, gave me options, treated my kitten like he was their own, and left me with the knowledge to continue treating my baby at home until the subsequent follow-up. I could not have asked for a better experience. The receptionists, techs, and veterinarian were all phenomenal. Thank you, Newberry Animal Hospital, for your kindness and help.

Thank you to the staff! They were able to squeeze me in last minute and even were able to let me see the doctor I had seen previously at another location.
I probably sounded like a huge worry wart because my dog is recovering from a venomous snake bite and he was acting oddly, but the staff were very pleasant and reassuring. (Every one of them cooed over Deku!) He was acting very nervous to the point I felt embarrassed, but a few pets and treats and the tech won him over. The doctor was thorough and discussed treatment and made sure I understood.
I'm very grateful to have locations staffed by caring animal lovers.

The vet staff was incredibly friendly with zero wait time at all to get into the exam room. They laid all the information I needed out and were up front about pricing and health information. They adored our little Eggs Benedict. I was able to schedule a follow up appointment while there. Very pleased!

I've been a NAH client for about a year now. NAH is very accommodating to my easily overexcited dog. They avoid stress as much as possible by prescribing calming meds and allowing for my presence during procedures which helps my dog stay calmer. It feels great having a flexible plan to get the best care for my girl. The whole experience is filled with treats and praise for her. Additionally, their prices are very reasonable for today's day and age and the quality of care given. Staff are very knowledgeable, polite, caring, and professional, and I love that Dr. G. Takes the time to go over clients concerns in depth and educate them. Last but not least, the app makes it very easy to schedule appointments and stay in the loop with community updates.

It has been almost six years since Newberry Animal Hospital became part of our lives. We have four dogs (three of them being seniors) with different issues, and we visit NAH at least every other month.
Dr. Gruntmeir became part of our family. She knows by memory all our dogs' medical history and family dynamics. She always takes the time to explain the issues with our dogs, the cause, and the course of treatment. Even though we now live 137 miles away, we don't hesitate to take the two-hour drive to guarantee that our dogs will receive the best care.
The Newberry Animal Hospital staff is outstanding. Also, their prices are fair, and they will never perform unnecessary procedures or induce you to spend more than needed.

I took my dog Bruce, that has significant anxiety to this clinic to initiate care after trying other vet clinics in the area and this was hands down the best experience I could have hoped for. Not only was everyone extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but they also take the time to get to know you and your pet to provide the best care at a great price. Not to mention, my dog was the most comfortable he’s even been at the vet, which really tells me everything I need to know. Highly recommended.
