So happy I went to this store! My feet always hurt and I thought I could only wear vionic shoes. The owner really knows his stuff! He helped me pick out shoes that I love and they feel so good on my feet. I highly recommend this store if you have any foot issues

For the price of the shoes, the store needs to have better sales people ... they should at least know their products and know how to determine size and fit ... they should also dress appropriately for work (our sales person was practically naked) ... 2 pair of shoes were $450 and we had to do all the sizing and fitting ourselves. Then they could not provide us with itemized information on the shoes .... I had to call the manufacturer to get that in order to present to our insurance for reimbursement.

Wow! Just wow! I looked all over town for shoes and really couldn’t find anything. I wear size 11 so it’s hard to find sometimes. So I go into The Walkabout Shop not knowing what I would find and I bought FOUR pairs of shoes!! Literally the best service I have had anywhere. The girl was SO helpful. Great selection of shoes. It’s expensive but totally worth it for the quality, comfort, and great service. I don’t think I will ever go anywhere else for shoes!!!

This is one of my favorite shops in the Gainesville area. The service in this footwear store is absolutely amazing. I have been shopping here for over 7 years. Today I went in with a pair of shoes that had a defect, we determined I had bought them about 7 months ago. The young lady called the owner and he took care of the problem. She was able to find me a replacement pair of shoes and ordered some more insoles and I am very pleased. I have difficult feet to fit and they never let me down. I highly recommend this shop, the owner and all the staff!
