I’ve been living here for about 3 months now and when we arrived they didn’t clean our place at all. There was still trash outside our balcony and in all the rooms from people that were there before us. They painted over hair so there were large amounts of hair on all of my walls. The carpet was extremely dirty when i arrived. we put in a work order for our coffee table 3 months ago and still haven’t received it. My roommate put in a work order for his wifi and they never fixed the issue. the benches in the gym are always broken and the sauna is never on. there’s never parking if you live farther down in the neighborhood. The outlet in our patio also doesn’t work.

These peopel are terrible. THey will sell you a nice looknig place, but your apartment will be gross, and you will have to fight with them to fix it. Then, on your way out the door (end of lease), they will charge you for all kinds of normal wear and tear items, for example normal carpet wear after 3 years of living there. Further, they put you with roommates that you don't know, and if those roommates leave before you, they attempt to collect for damages that those roommates have done. It is a terrible corporation trying to take advantage of college students. Stay far, far away. Based on other reviews, I am sure this place will change their name very soon and try to continue the same seedy practices.

I'm quite disappointed with the place. I was expecting to find the house clean, but it was the complete opposite. The floor was dirty, the carpet was filthy, and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The kitchen furniture was also dirty. Throughout the entire year, they don't change the air conditioning filters. The monthly payment is high, so at the very least, the place should be cleaned and vacuumed before the start of the year.

I recently moved out and was very disappointed with the final move out process. Despite taking good care of the apartment, my roommates and I were charged for damages that we believe were not our responsibility. For example, we were charged $1,800 for carpet damage without any clear evidence of what the damage was. Furthermore, the charges for furniture removal and oven damage seemed unusually high and unclear.
The whole experience has left us feeling like we were unfairly charged, with fees deducted from our deposit that don’t seem justified. It’s really frustrating, especially since we had been careful with the property. If you’re considering moving here, be cautious and document everything carefully to avoid unexpected charges when you move out.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with The Retreat apartment complex. Communication through email has been extremely poor, with delayed responses and a lack of clarity. The front office staff seems to have very little power to address issues or make decisions, which is incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, the units were not prepared on move-out day, forcing many residents, including myself, to rent storage units temporarily. This added unnecessary stress and cost. Overall, I would not recommend The Retreat due to their lack of organization and poor customer service.
Nice pool and gym and a lot of dogs.

nice place they really did boost up their management recently. Coffee machine is currently broken. Internet sometimes lags while playing video games. They have pool tables, a gym no barbell but dumbbells, very nice pool and jacuzzi.
