Jason did a wonderful job with our kitchen. The Fumed Lorch lowers with white glossy uppers turned out incredible. He installed soft close Blum hardware for a clean finish. Several details were incorporated to accommodate the LED lighting. The final product looks like a fine piece of jewelry. A lot of care was used in packaging the 3 crates for shipping. We will use Straw Woodworks for future custom cabinetry and millwork.Services: Cabinet design

Jason Straw and his team recently designed, built and installed our Master Bath cabinets. Jason made excellent suggestions for making the best use of the limited space we had. The cabinets are beautiful, very well made and function perfectly. Pat & Oscar, who installed the cabinets, were very professional and helpful (sorry again, Pat, for breaking your drill you so kindly lent us!). We love our kitchen! We initially met with Jason to get some designs for new cabinets for our kitchen. He drew up plans for us and we then contracted with him to build and install those plans. Jason takes the time to show you various options and is very knowledgeable about his craft. He answered all of my questions (I had a lot of them!) and did not have any surprises along the way in terms of price or timelines once they got started. His crew is very professional and meticulous. Our house has an open floor plan and the kitchen is now the a beautiful showpiece for the house. I smile every time I look at it! Not only is it beautiful (just look at that pantry!), it is also super functional. Jason and his team thought of things like changing up the way cabinets open in tough to reach places like over the fridge. Straw and company just completed their third project for us. This project was a redo of a 1940’s house that included custom cabinetry in the entire kitchen and two baths. The kitchen was done in red elm and consisted of a wall of cabinets covering the fridge and freezer.Under the windows cabinets with drawers surround the range and a set of floating shelves sits above. The island has the dishwasher, the sink and a seating area covered with beautiful matching wood. By the entrance is a cabinet for glasses, food processor and drawers equipped with plugs to change phones. The kitchen has custom indirect lighting that brings out the features of the room. Notably throughout the kitchen, the grain of the wood is perfectly coordinated from one drawer or one cabinet to the next.The two bathrooms are done one in cypress and the other in a grey wood. The artistry of the cabinetry and lighting is consistently outstanding. In the larger bathroom there are matching doors.Jason has a great eye for design and lighting. His team of installers including Pat is talented and professional.I recommend Straw and Company without reservations. You will be thrilled with your bespoke lasting interiors.Services: Closet design

I had a great, collaborative experience with them and the care for selection of wood, finishes, and final construction of my kitchen and vanities was fantastic. Straw and Company was a pleasure to work with from the first correspondence to the finished table in my dining room. Since I had a specific table size request and wanted something of quality, custom building a table was my only option. Figuring out the right dimensions, talking price, arranging a pickup, etc., it all went smoothly and quickly. The quality of my kitchen table is just amazing. It is better than any Arhaus or Pottery Barn table and it was a cheaper price point. The material is gorgeous, strong and sturdy. It is a statement piece in my kitchen that makes everything else look dingy and cheap in comparison. I have used Straw and Co. on many of my projects including my own kitchen. They are excellent craftsmen and offer perfect installation. They always work with me on the design to deliver a beautiful AND functional product. Although their lead times can be long as all good things come with time, they are honest about it and deliver when they say they will. We heard great things about Straw Fine Woodworking and knew that we wanted to go with them. We still priced out other cabinet companies and found Straw was competitive but with much higher quality products. Jason and Neil walked us through the design process, listening to our challenges, and offering creative ideas to help our kitchen come to life. They did an excellent job communicating through the whole process, helping us understand our options for veneer, hardware, cabinet size/design and placement. Once it was all finalized, we got in the installation que.The installation took about a week and was done with a high level of professionalism and communication. Our house is older and includes some variation in the floor and ceiling levelness, and thus challenges in making the cabinets look right. Patrick and the installation crew did an excellent job making it look seamless. They even went above and beyond by correcting some flooring inconsistencies, installing the sink, and installing the microwave with vent. The final product looks amazing! Our kitchen looks clean and sharp. You can see the before pictures with the 1950s cabinets and appliances and then the new ones that Straw installed.Service: Pre-made cabinet design & installation

Jason and his team put in two custom built in bookshelves for us. We were impressed and happy with the service in every way. The scheduling and timeline were in line with what was estimated. His team was all totally professional, showed up on time, and was easy to work with. They somehow did all this work, including cutting a lot of wood in our house, without making a mess at all.
