Pam was amazing! So glad I found her, I have been searching for the perfect hairstylist for 2 years since moving to the area. She was extremely skilled, kind, patient and informative. She did a great job and gave me tons of Gainesville tips I have been in search of. Can’t wait until next time ?

Pam is amazing!! When I first visited, I wanted to cut my long hair. Over time, she has crafted my hair into the picture here. I absolutely love my hair and I get so many compliments on it. Pam takes my ideas, checks with me about ideas she has and comes up with the final result. She’s awesome at feeling her way through the haircut as well and working with the person’s specific hair and face to find a flattering style. (For example, she works around/with cowlicks, waves or curls, how your hair naturally lays, etc). She’s even cutting my teen girls’ hair now.

I have been coming here for 2 years since finding Lisa, by accident and Noone else will ever touch my hair. She is amazing!!!
Requested style: I cut all my hair off short in edgy layers and had her do blonde and red highlights. Very big transition. And I love it!

I have been a regular customer in the past. Tina has been my stylist when I did come here. She never fails to produce the right color and hair style for me. The only reason I stopped coming was that my financial situation changed. But, now I am in the position to come back and continue having my hair done here.
The staff has always been courteous. Great place all around good environment.

Requested style: I requested for her to create a new style for me and she did that . Something a franchise establishment won’t do . They want to ask questions rather than using the skills they have learned . Thank you Pamela !

Jessica has been my stylist for over ten years and she is hands down the best stylist and I don’t trust anyone else. I have black brown hair and she colors my hair every six weeks to an ice blonde color, successfully. Very few stylists know how to color hair that drastically the right way and she only bleaches it once. I am in and out in less than two hours and it’s perfect. The products she’s uses are top notch and the salon is always clean. Front desk is super nice and helpful. I get numerous compliments on my hair ALL the time and I send everyone to Jessica. She is knowledgeable and knows hair, always has. Try her out especially if you want color done right. You will not be disappointed!

After having a disastrous experience with my hair color I saw Jessica for a correction. OHHHH MYY GAWSH! Let me tell you the miracle she performed!!! She went over our slotted time and she made sure that I didnt leave unsatisfied. I will definitely be coming back to her from here on out.

My usual stylist went on an extended maternity leave recently and I had to find a new stylist. I made an appointment for a free consultation with Jess. I was VERY nervous to use someone else as I have been with my stylist for years. I received a root color, highlights and a cut (suggested by Jessica) I couldn't be happier!! Besides the fact that my hair looks amazing, Jessica was a lot of fun to spend time with and my appointment was around two hours. The salon is clean and everyone was lovely. I can't recommend salon savoy more, especially Jess. Thank you SO much for updating my look!!!! I don't look forward to breaking up with my old stylist.

Only see Jessica at Salon Savoy if you want a stylist so full of her own ego that she completely disregards your(the client’s) requests and gives you the cut she wants you to have. Super sneaky about it! I had waist length hair that needed to be trimmed. I often wore it in a braid when I was active to reduce tangles and told her this, made sure to explain the layers had to be long!! She showed about 2 inches in the back that would be cut and snipped it off with my approval. As my hair was angled, I reminded her it could go no shorter. Then she removed my glasses(legally blind without them) and gradually cut and cut and cut my hair, walked in with waist length hair and left with hair above my shoulder. She actually said that she knew it wasn’t what I asked for but in 3 months I would thank her, seriously?!?! She knowingly lopped off my hair and AFTER said it HAD to go. Why not say it before? I would have gone somewhere else. Still reeling at the gall to completely disregard my wishes to give me the haircut that she decided for me, I’d like to be happy now…not in 3 months. No telling when I can braid it again. With my thick loose hair, My kids will have hair in their food unless I wear a hair net! So gross.

Only see Jessica if you want her give you the haircut that she wants you to have and not what you ask for! A "trim" for waist length hair was 6-8 inches off WITHOUT MY PERMISSION ! But I guess she's happy with it. Doesn't really matter to her that it is completely impractical for my needs. I was told all of the stylists were specialists in curly hair and Jessica had availability the next morning. I should have known that was a warning sign, but I was recently released from a lengthy hospital stay and needed service. My hair was past my waist and needed to be trimmed. I made sure Jess was aware that I only wanted a trim. She wanted to cut more off, but I often wear my hair braided and it all needs to reach the braid. She initially showed taking about 2 inches off and showed cutting it before the color. Then my glasses were off and she started cutting. A little here, a little there, all while I'm legally blind. She was finished and I put my glasses on . It is above my shoulders! Before I said anything, she said I know it's shorter than you wanted but it just had to go. In 3 months when it grows out I will thank her. What? It just had to go? I'll be happy in 3 months? I'm usually happy when I leave a salon, not 3 months from now. It didn't HAVE to go. What does that even mean? Maybe she likes it that way, but I do not. If it was some weird ego thing where she morally couldn't give me the haircut I wanted, she should have said so. The ego of a stylist like Jess who completely ignores what the customer asks for. So I suppose Jess will come hold my hair back for me or I can wear barrettes like a child because it falls out of the braid. No way these ridiculously short layers will fit. And I specifically said the layers had to be long. Showed her how long it needed to be! The salon itself was nice and very accommodating for my wheelchair.

I’ve been going here for I think over a year now and they’ve been incredible every single time. Easy scheduling for appointments, friendly service and I cannot gush about my hairdresser Jess. She is the absolute best at what she does. She knows what I like more than I do. I’ve sent all my friends and family over here and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon

I love my stylist here but I don't like the salon. Tight and cramped. You feel like everyone is staring at you. It so F@cking HOT in this salon and then they put a smock on you and you want to die! Shampoo sinks are at the front-wtf??? The only thing that keeps me coming back is my stylist.
