If you just need a place to flop, then you've found the right place with this Quality Inn. The room was fairly clean and the wood floors and office workspace made it feel a little more upscale. The shower was clean with hot water and good pressure. I only stayed one night with my 2 sons and it was adequate for us. The neighborhood seemed pretty safe but I wouldn't walk around at night too much. The pool was non functional with construction projects going on and the parking lot was limited due to construction equipment and vehicles. All in all, I didn't expect much and I got what I expected but I was happy with my stay and would recommend the Quality Inn University to families on a budget or people that just don't care where they lay their head.

The room we were in had just been remodeled. It was very elegant and clean! The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast! The dining area was small, but clean. The maintenance man got a little harsh with me because I grabbed a Bible out of a desk to put in our room. He came at me with attitude wanting to know why I did that. My husband told him we didn't have a Bible in our room. I wanted one in there to read. He was throwing his title around and I finally told him I WAS NOT stealing the Bible! He was very confrontational. He was the only NEGATIVE factor to our stay here.Rooms: Very cleanSafety: We felt very safe here, other than the maintenance man harassing me.Food & drinks: Good breakfast.

Room was nice and recently renovated. Did miss a kettle though there were coffee and tea amenities. A few small things like that, but overall good. Only other thing is that room seemed not used for a while so it was a bit stuffy. Unfortunately the price greed was in full force. Clean and quiet room. Looks like it has been recently renovated. Everything in the room worked, beds were comfortable. Good location if you are in Gainesville for a hospital visit.

The manager guy would walk into our room randomly without even knocking or anything at like 8 am. Room service would do the same every morning around the same time. Owner has a terrible attitude towards his guests. Told us we could not get back into our room and get our bags when we miss placed a key. Nothing but problems from the guy, would not recommend putting up with these people.Safety: No safety at all when you have random employees walk in on you at random times with no warning/knock. Ridiculous.

Super clean, freshly renovated roadside stay. New beds, nice sheets, fluffy towels. They’re mom-and-pop operators, so they take pride in their operations. They did a turndown service which I did not expect. Om hanuman namah. ??Nearby activities: Tom Petty

I don't understand how they call this place a hotel when the rooms stink, the air filters haven't been cleaned for years and the ice machine doesn't work, this hotel is garbage, there's nothing good about it, everything is broken, everything stinks, it's in very bad condition, I don't think so. I recommend

Had a splendid stay here! Toriano checked us in and I was extremely impressed with his kindness, professionalism, and knowledge.Great location for UF, the outside isn’t ideal. However, the inside is very clean and nice.Also, Uncle runs the place very well. I’ve worked at many hotels and can tell when a manager cares or not. The manager here greatly cares for his property and business.

Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. When I stayed there in Fall of 2022, they we’re starting to renovate the rooms. My room was very outdated. The front door was not well insulated so you could see through the cracks. It was annoying. Another annoyance was the constant noise the construction people were making. The room next to mine was used as a storage and they kept going in there making noise. There is regular, free parking right in front of your room, which is very convenient. Free breakfast and coffee was basic. Service was okay at the front desk. Unless they finished renovating the motel, I would not recommend it. When I stayed there, there was construction materials right outside.

I came to Gainesville to have surgery. The location was fantastic I could see the hospital where I needed to go from the hotel where we were staying. The staff were very helpful, professional, and kind. The rooms were very clean the bed was nicely made. There were no bugs and the floors were clean. Water pressure was good for the shower. I had an accessible room and there was a chair and grab bars in the shower. They had coffee available in the room, but I went to the lobby to get coffee. (I used my own thermos cup) It was always good and hot. They had hot breakfast in the morning nothing fancy just some egg rounds and patty sausage. I always want to know what they have to eat before I come because I have allergies. Heres basically what I remember them having Bagels, cream cheese, yogurt, cereal, waffles, syrup, mini muffins, bread for toast(wheat and white), orange juice, apple juice, apples, packaged oatmeal, bananas, real butter, equal, splenda, sugar, Lipton tea bags for hot teaOver all it was a very good experience 8 out of 10, would recommend!

This is a basic place to put your head. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The rooms while clean mostly needed some work. The bathroom had broken items. The outlets required some wiggling to work. The refrigerator microwave and TV could not be plugged in at the same time unless you moved one of them. The stairs were painted incorrectly and are not up to safety code. It is safe and clean, and I believe the staff is trying,

The staff is fantastic! The rooms are clean and well-appointed. They are TOPS in my book for customer service! Our good friend needed to have a cancer treatment in Gainesville (he is from way far away) and the Front desk provided above and beyond for our friends care. We are so appreciative to the very caring Front Desk gentleman. This is now our ONLY place to stay for future treatments! Thank you so very much to Quality Inn University!!!:-)

This place is trash. Walked in & the room was disgustingly filthy. My socks got black from the carpet. The chair was stained, had crumbs on it, and had chips in between the cushions. The shower was dirty, had hair in the drain, and the toilet was also running the entire time we were there. Oh and to mention three of us woke up with bites!!!! is this place ever cleaned?? would never recommend for anyone and needs to be knocked down.
