Today I went to this Publix location. I went to the deli and asked them if they had any unbreaded hot & spicy chicken wings. I was told that it would take 25mins until they would be done. I left and came back in 30mins and there were no wings ready in the warming cabinet. I then asked about them again and was told be ready in 15mins. That time went by and was then told another 5mins. I then was told by a deli worker that because I didn't request them that is why they weren't done. The first person a spoke to NEVER told me that I should have reserved an order then they would have been ready in 25 mins. I assumed when I was told that it would be 25mins that they were already cooking. Needless to say this is not how things should be communicated with customers. With that being said if it was a week day there would have been several boxes of various wings in the warmer and if there wouldn't be what I was looking for they would tell me how long it would be for that flavor to be ready.

The sublime is always loooong when I go. But I always love the garden subs on multigrian, and by adding my own Daiya cheese, and Publix tea, it's a great healthy meal.

It's a pleasure shopping in a Publix grocery store. Too bad they are not available throughout the United States

Went to the Publix deli on Main Street this morning expecting to pick up four platters of sandwiches and other miscellaneous items. I was horrified to find that the online order I placed the day before had been dated for the following day. I was in a serious jam due to visiting consultants at my workplace expecting lunch in a little more than an hour.
Philip and Steven, in the deli, were both backlogged already trying to get out orders that were actually scheduled for today. Still, Philip said he was willing to squeeze me in if Steven could support it. Steven wrapped up his current orders and did just that. Between Philip, Steven, and Rudy they got those platters in my hand in time for the luncheon.
I could have cried. They saved my mental health and my job. I am so deeply grateful to them for the compassion and humanity they showed me in my desperate time of need. Shout out to Quentin, too, who kept me calm with sincere assurances and a sample of the very fine turkey Publix carries. You guys are all so awesome!

Don't bother scheduling a deli pick up unless you want to show up an hour late. Then it might be ready when you need it.
