Parks was great at first sale was quick and easy. Fast forward three months. Get pulled over officer tells me my tag has been voided and I need to contact the dealership. I called from 7am till 10am got the service department they transferred me to sales no one picked up sales had to go back and get someone to answer. Guy didn’t know why my tag was voided said he would have to re issue the tag and over night it to me. Give him a few hours to figure out what happend. Asked the guy to give me a call and let me know what was happening as it’s my only car. 5:30pm no call I called back and another guy answered the phone and says if he don’t call you back in 30 min I will personally call you. I waited another hour and no call back tried to call them and it just rings. I am beyond frustrated.

The promptness of the sevice and the caring service representatives, before and after along with a very modern waiting area with courtesy beverages Is a plus. You can actually see as the Vehicle Technicians service your car from inside the waiting room.

Bill Bowers was eat to work with. We are satisfied with our sale’s experience. We purchased the care for our daughter. However, when I finally drove the car, we noticed that there were absolutely no floor mats, just the hooks to hold them down. I contacted Bill and I’m sure when he gets back to me, he’ll take care of it.

We had a great experience buying a new 2024 Santa Fe. Bill Bowers was our salesman and he was wonderful to work with. He was a very friendly and made the whole experience pleasant He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and went above and beyond to get us a great price. Highly recommended.

My car salesman, Oliver Sanchez, was a 10. He put up with my PITA attitude, but in the end, he sold me an outstanding 2018 Hyundai Tucson. He is an outstanding salesman and person. Thankyou Oliver. Also, kudos gonout to Michael, your financial person. Grazie molto.

Since this is most likely my final visit, I’m glad to share my experience with Parks of Gainesville. I bought a certified used car in Orlando with a limited warranty that includes free oil changes for two years. The first 2 oil changes were GREAT no issues. The last two (I guess quality dropped in the last yearish) have been a nightmare. The 3rd visit, the service advisor (younger black woman) stated she had no idea where my keys were for pickup. This was end of day (as they finished the 10AM oil change at 6PM) so most techs and managers had already got home. She looked frantically until I looked in my car outside, the keys being left in the cupholder. A Hyundai dealership should know a 2021 Elantra SEL does NOT lock with keys left inside. The window being down was the cherry on top. After this oil change I also experienced issues with the backup camera not working at ALL. Didn’t have this issue before and thank god the new camera and computer were covered under warranty. My last visit (which was supposed to be my final) I was told - surprise! You have another free oil change for the 37.000 miles limit. Awesome! I go to schedule today - no credit exists in the system. So now I’m having to email the service manager to figure out which tech is telling the truth. Pepboys or any other shop has never given me a headache like this official certified dealership has. Not to mention parts department likes to lie about being the only merchant to sell filters for my car - AutoZone begs to differ and at half the price as well.
UPDATE: Why would I call the same people that are making the mistakes - especially if I have to wait on hold for 10 minutes to even get in contact with the operator? I suggest a serious overhaul of the service department before a further loss of customers/reputation due to lack of organization and professionalism. All I know is I’m not coming back and I’m gonna let whoever wants to know about this dealership my experiences in full.

If I could rate 1 star I would! Unbelievably horrible dealership! I have purchased several cars here and now, not only will I never go back to this location, but I will no longer buy a Hyundai.
Ok so here's my experience...I bought my latest 2 cars from Parks and bring both in for oil changes. The car, they wrecked...I'm like ok because they did fix it like new...on to my pickup truck.this is a 2023 with 32k miles on it, I bring it in for an oil change and they overfill it and blow my dipstick and get oil everywhere. Luckily I caught it before I blew my engine. I take it in and the clean it up and refill the oil. A little while later we notice the oil is still leaking and we take it back in. They tell me it's just left over oil from when the oil blew...this was a lie and it was actively leaking oil, so I demand they look harder, so they put dye in and find the rear seal is blown....I'm like omfg seriously? So then they say they will repair it. They had my truck 3 weeks, no calls no updates, they won't call me back or come to the phone...not even the manager, so we call corporate. Then they call me almost immediately and say my truck is finished, ( I'm guessing it has been done). I pick it up today and get it home. Not only was the simple wiper hose repair botched but my oil leak is worse. Seriously I'm done and contacting a lawyer. They lost a loyal customer!!!

My wife had her 2016 hyundai sonata in a couple months ago to have the motor warranty replaced in which they did a fantastic job. That being said I just performed the first oil change since then and that motor had every bit of 6 quarts of oil in it when it calls for 5.1 quarts that is too much oil which can cause to much crank case pressure and can blow out seals, past the rings ect. It's not hard to verify how much oil should actually be in a motor I would have thought that whichever "technician" serviced the motor on install would have actually verified how much oil was needed.

Hyundai as a company put a rotten apple in my throat from the last car I purchased my hyundai koan, it took them serval months to fit the problem with my Kona. They kept putting Band-Aids on the problem and finally had the service Department at parks do a Diagnostics on my Kona to find out the problem and then fixed the issue with climate control system the customer care department of Hyundai did offer me 500 dollars for my inconvenience. After all that I was really reluctant to buy another car from Hyundai, however the sales person at Parks of Hyundai did restore my faith in Hyundai to buy my Elantra. Ryan was the sale person to but my faith back in buying from Hyundai again, the only criticism I have is to explain the difference tech features of the vehicle that person is buying, not ask what tech package they what. But over all a good representative of Hyundai and Parks dealership.

Your service manger was very inconsiderate & self centered. No one listened to my concerns & only seemed money hungry ! I wouldn’t recommend these people to a dog.. yet alone to anyone who actually wants their car fixed. They are selling LEMONS

Over the 4th of July week, I was back in Gainesville to help my brother find a new car. We had appointments to visit dealerships from Tuesday through Friday including 2 dealers in Ocala and we were looking at Toyota Corolla, Mazda3 Sedan, Hyundai Elantra and Honda Civic.
On the 4th, we had an appointment at Parks Hyundai of Gainesville with Zac Register who had earlier responded to my online inquiry with an email and a short video showing himself and numerous Hyundai vehicles.
We were introduced to Zac and we met a very professional looking and acting gentleman. He looked us in the eye and politely handled our questions while determining exactly what we were looking for in the Hyundai product line. We were shortly in a brand new, 2024 Hyundai Elantra for my brother to take a test drive! Everything went well and upon my request, Zac had sat in the front passenger seat to help my brother with the controls and features.
Well, we were back at the dealership, out of the car and Zac suggested that we take a look at another model, the Hyundai Elantra Hybrid. Neither my brother nor I were really looking for a
Hybrid but we agreed to another test drive and this was for a Limited edition. The upgrades were fantastic, the vehicle drove and handled wonderfully, the power and acceleration were impressive and the air conditioned front seats were like a scoop of ice cream on a piece of hot apple pie!
My brother was sold and that was why I was with him, to make sure that we purchased a vehicle that we both agreed on, that met what we were looking for and that didn't break our bank. Also, I had reservations about a Hybrid which I expressed to Zac and he answered my questions and removed my reservations about a Hybrid.
So, it is now time to buy or get off the lot. Zac presented an offer, I countered, he came back with another and I made a final offer which he took back to his manager. A little bit more wiggling around and then we had a signed offer. Zac really worked with us on a very weathered 2005 Toyota Corolla for the trade-in and represented us to his manager.
While we waited to complete the paperwork with the Finance Manager, Zac had our car detailed and he took it out to fill the gas tank before we left the dealership. I have to emphasize this, Zac Register of Parks Hyundai filled up my brother's brand new 2024 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid (Limited) with gas before we left! This is the first time in my over 50 years of buying cars that a Sales Representative has filled the gas tank before leaving. Some people may not think much of this, but it speaks loudly to me about the dealership, management and staff!
My brother and I want to recognize the terrific service and treatment that Zac gave to us and we strongly recommend that anyone seeking to buy a vehicle see Zac Register. He is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, customer service orientated and I enjoyed talking to him about working with his grandfather. If I were still working and had my business, I would hire Zac in a heartbeat to work in my business.
Parks Ford and Parks Hyundai of Gainesville - management take heed! Do what it takes to keep this young man working for you.

We had a recalled engine for a Hyundai 2011 replaced at Parks. After they had the car for over a month and us being told by Eric (the service manager) that because we didn’t purchase our Hyundai from them our vehicle’s servicing would be a low priority. Finally the vehicle was repaired after I called and got the GM involved. In less than a month the car stopped working again. We got it towed and was told it could be the starter because the car wouldn’t crank. Took the car to a different shop for the starter repair that was under warranty. The vehicle still wouldn’t crank and since Parks did the engine replacement none of the other repair shops would attempt to check or work on the engine. We got the car towed back to Parks and let Chris know what the issue was. After almost 2 weeks we get a service agreement from Luciano that the vehicle needs a starter. How???With a starter on the vehicle that’s less than 2weeks old. Chris quoted us a price of $1800 to do that repair after we explained that’s a brand new starter. Chris stated they can take the starter off and give it us to take it back to shop we’d purchased it from before. Insinuating the starter was faulty. After we finally decided to get the car towed from up there to take the vehicle back to where we’d gotten the starter replaced at. Chris decides Parks was going to charge us $265 for a diagnostic test of confirming the engine theyd replaced wasn’t malfunctioning. Chris gets angry telling me he’ll just cover the bill if we just get the car the hell from up there. We got the car towed again and was able to get the starter took off again and tested to find out there’s nothing wrong with the starter. The engine has to be locked up from something and Parks of Gainesville had to know that from inspecting my vehicle. I will be calling corporate and I don’t recommend anyone ever going to this dealership!!
