About Operation Catnip of Gainesville
Operation Catnip of Gainesville is a donation-based organization that provides spay-neuter, vaccinations, and wellness care for free-roaming, unowned community cats and kittens. The program is largely supported by donations and volunteer efforts, especially in partnership with the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. The staff is described as helpful and friendly, with one reviewer mentioning a "girl with blond hair" who was very nice and explained things well. The organization has also helped reduce costs for future appointments, which saves money for those using their services. Reviewers express gratitude for the program, especially its support for feral cats and kittens. The organization is praised for the care they provided to kittens, including one named Rain who was accepted into their KSD program and is now doing well.

This organization did the spay/neuter for the 2 kittens I fostered (adopted) from ACAR. Arrived early in the morning for drop off and they called me when the kittens were ready that afternoon. Young lady explained briefly what they did and we were on our way home by 3:30.
