The MATHESON Museum hosts some very interesting exhibits and presentations about Gainesville's history in politics, art, and music.
The Matheson History Museum's mission is to preserve and interpret the history of Gainesville, Alachua County, and its surrounding environs. Our museum complex consists of four historic buildings. We host Florida-themed programs and exhibitions throughout the year.
