I drove an hour to his shop, based upon the reviews. John's talents and skills are impeccable. He didn't rush and took his time. He has a positive energy that brightens your day. Im very happy and it's worth the drive. Highly recommend-5 Stars !

Lovely place. John gave me an amazing haircut and was super nice. He took the time to make sure I was happy with the cut and made adjustments when I asked. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for lgbt people.

Amazing service!!! I got lost on the way because I am new here but they did not hesitate to call me back when I was lost and show me the right directions. I got my hair trimmed by Donny for the first time in Gainesville . Donny paid a lot of attention to my hair and handled it delicately and efficiently . I also gave him some examples of what I would like my hair to look like and that I would like to have less volume and he executed it very well. Overall would recommend :)

I had such an incredible experience here! I never trusted anyone with my hair but these two are amazing. They cut my hair exactly how I wanted and it wasn't expensive at all! They listened to me and told me I could come back in a week to get some more layers, and I ended up coming back and my hair looked even better! I have super thick hair so sometimes stylists don't do what I want, but they're amazing. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.Services: Hairstyling

I got permanent hair straightning treatment and paid over 300$ for it to NOT WORK!!! ?The owner said he would fix it then I get told finally after waiting for months that its my fault my hair isnt straight and hes NOT fixing it.. then i got blocked! Seriously!? Not professional at all...

John's a great barber. 5/5. Perhaps the best haircut I've had in Gainesville.Went here for a men's haircut. Called ahead and John was able to fit me in that day. The location was very clean and professional with comfy chairs :)I don't have much more to say other than it's probably the best haircut I've gotten. My hair's pretty long (thanks pandemic), but I needed it cut for graduation, so I just told him to clean up the back but keep it long.

John and Donny are so awesome and their services are so amazing that I actually drive an hour to go to their salon. My first visit was after I had a terrible perm. My hair was a horrible mess. BUT after a few visits and FOLLOWING their advice, my hair was better than ever. So, to the person who left a bad comment; you have to listen when they are telling you how to follow up on your hair! They are professionals and truly care about each person's individual needs, and the nicest folks around!
