Not real impressed. They offered to help my rescue by having the orthopedic look at some x-rays. Let us know if the kitten needed anything. I paid $200 for 6 x-rays and the feedback was couldn't tell anything about the x-rays that I should bring him in for $600

Took my dog in for a possible CCL injury. After the examination, they were able to do the surgery the same day. IVS was great! The surgery was successful, and my dog did have a complete tear of his CCL. I can't say enough good things about the staff at IVS. I hope we never need their services again, but if we do, we'll definitely be back.(Update) Having had 7 dogs over the past 20 yrs (and just back in Dec 2022), my dog which had the TPLO done at IVS has made the fastest recovery of all of them. Simply amazing. I strongly recommend Dr Neihaus with IVS.

I called because one of the Vets I called recommended them, the receptionist said they need a referral first and ended the call. It is fine if they don';t want new patients, but could be a bit more polite and not as cold.

I brought my Frenchie see Dr. Clemmons and team for new pain and unexplained neurological symptoms. Dr. Clemmons and his vet tech Michael were phenomenal. Unfortunately, my dog was diagnosed with chronic neurological condition but Dr. Clemens treatment plan was so detailed and included both traditional medication with holistic medications therapy. Michael reviewed everything with us in great detail. They were significantly cheaper than going to a specialist local to us. You can really tell they love what they do!

If you happen to need a specialist for your pet I would definitely recommend the Institute of Veterinary Specialists. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable!

If you love your fur baby, don’t just walk away from this place, run! I adopted this 4 year old retired breeding labradoodle last September and noticed remarkable slow resting heart rate and murmur. After checked out by her regular vet and full blood work showed normal results, her regular vet recommended her to see a cardiologist. After being seen by Dr. Borde and EKG and echocardiogram done, Dr. Borde couldn’t hear the murmur, just told me that she had thickening valve but not to a point to be put on medication. After I expressed my concern of her considerably slow resting heart rate and extra beat, Dr. Borde reluctantly put her on a 24 hour holter monitor. The results did come back with a slowest heart rate at 33 bpm and a longest pause of 2.7 seconds, which even worse than I have already know and worries me. Dr. Border’s interpretation and recommendation on paper was to check her thyroid, which we had already did at her regular vet and brought him the records. I requested to have him to go over the results with me, never heard back. It’s unbelievable how a vet doesn’t even bother to talk with you about the test results after you spend over 1 grand on the test. Clearly another vet got a career for the wrong reason!

I can't say enough about the staff at IVS. Thank you so much for getting Jester in quickly and for being so kind to him while he was there. Everyone spoke to me and Jester like we were important and not just like we were another client. We met with Dr Borde for two heart conditions and he explained everything in detail and said he would be happy to be involved with Jester's continuing care. IVS is mailing a 24-hour Holter monitor to our local vet this week so that Jester doesn't have to make another 4-hour road trip. Dr Borde also offered to meet Jester via a mobile appointment for his next echo. I appreciate this so much. They truly care about the wellbeing of my golden son. Prices were on-point, and were not at all shocking considering you are seeing a top specialist. Shout out to the phenomenal front desk staff.

Waited almost 90 minutes to see doc who never showed. My time is just as valuable as yours is doc. I walked out and won’t be spending another dime at this business. Atrocious customer service from the moment I walked in the door.

The doctors and the staff are very kind and provide excellent veterinary services. I've had two issues during my two visits:1. A $100 test was run on my pet without my consent. I understand veterinary services have certain cost, but I really would have preferred to have had the chance to consider it and be asked first.2. When I called ahead to get an estimate for services, the staff misquoted the price and after my visit I was charged $100 more than my estimate.Again, I think the services provided are good and I understand the cost associated with them, but I would appreciate more transparency and accuracy in the prices ahead of time.
