There is a Better smaller business 0.5 miles from them it's called Deshi Bazaar consider them instead.I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent experience I had at India Bazaar Regrettably, the behavior of the owner was exceedingly ill-mannered, leaving a lasting negative impression.I encountered rudeness and disrespect from the owner, which created a deeply uncomfortable atmosphere. Instead of demonstrating basic courtesy and professionalism, the owner engaged in behavior that can only be described as uncivilized and offensive.It is disheartening to see such blatant disregard for common decency and respect towards customers. As someone who values polite and respectful interactions, I was deeply dismayed by the lack of manners displayed by the owner.

There’s an excellent variety of south Asian grocery items at this store. Some items are a bit higher priced and you’d be better off purchasing elsewhere. For example Walmart sells the 20 pound royal basmati rice for $20 and here the sell for around $25 to $29, in those cases it’s not worth it. If you are purchasing an item that is probably only available at this store it makes sense since Gainesville is a small town and there’s not a lot of south Asian grocery options. Just be conscious.

Best place to buy indian groceries but a bit expensive. This place is easily accessible by rts buses near the University campus. This place has ample space for parking. You will definitely get indian atmosphere at this place. So overall its a good place unless you have a tight budget.

The staff is so unfriendly and rude towards certain ethic groups. I refuse to shop there anymore. For years, I have tried to ignore it. The last time I shopped there it was clearly apparent. Their unpleasant behavior goes beyond cultural differences.

Nice Indian supermarket. I like the ready food and cardonmen tea. Lots of ingredients for making curry's here.
