Noteworthy details: Nice clean hotel. Not completely over the top luxury hotel but very nice with a cozy feel.

We came to Eleos because of Shands. It is amazing! The service at the hotel and the restaurant (Flo was a rockstar) were excellent. Coming from out of town for a serious medical issue and receiving such genuinely kind service was such a bonus. Thank you!
I did notice the weird smell in the common areas but the staff and service made that seem miniscule. Overall a great experience and highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is incredibly well located if you are in the area for the University of Florida hospitals. My dog had a medical procedure at the UF Veterinary Hospital and the hotel staff could not have been more accommodating to me and our dog; who also happens to be a service animal. The rooms are clean, bright, spacious and very comfortable. Everyone at the hotel from the General Manager to the car parking valets in the front of the hotel genuinely cared about us and the recovery of our dog. The valet guys even wrote us a get well card. Again, I cannot say enough about this hotel and its staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home.

This hotel is excellent. The service is phenomenal, free valet (definitely tip), Covey Kitchen and Cocktails on the bottom floor is delicious. Highly recommended. Call and ask about UF and UF Health employee discounts or if you're visiting a patient, ask about patient discounts. You won't be disappointed.

We loved our stay at Eleo. From speaking with Antwon by phone or check-in desk with Margaret, Devon, or Amber.
We had several meals at Covey. AWESOME food, AWESOME service from ASH and BRIAN and Malcom running the show and amazing service from servers Chiarra, Natasha, and India

Food and drinks: Amazing food. Breakfast, LUNCH AND top notch dinner and drinks. From BIG awesome steak, fish and all. Great desserts too. Great Managers.. Brian, Ash, and Malcolm. Awesome servers.. Chiarra, Natasha, and India

We're from Orlando and we've been having to come to Gainesville weekly for the past month to see my daughter's surgeon at UF Health. We've been staying at Eleo for each visit, and we have really enjoyed our stays. The hotel is very nice, but it's really the staff that has made each visit so wonderful. Everyone including the valets have been extremely nice and accommodating. We have to give a special shout out to ANTWON at the front desk tho! He is absolutely amazing, and so so kind. We just love his energy, and he makes us feel so welcome every time we're there. We absolutely LOVE him!
My only gripe with this hotel is how much the price has increased now that school is back in session. The price has just about doubled since we started coming during the summer and ouch it's a lot now. I get the law of price and demand, but I wish there were some kind of loyal customer discount or something. Unfortunately for us it's not a choice to need to be in Gainesville every week for a month and the price increase is hurting now that it's gone up so much.

Easy check-in. Valets are quick and polite. The food was excellent. Views from the room were very nice.
Rooms: Fridge and 2 TVs. Large windows letting n light and affording great views.
Walkability: Walking distance to fast food. Easy walk to several UF Health clinics.

Noteworthy details: Everything about the hotel is modern simplistic
Complimentary car valet/no choice parking off site but close.
There is a $50 incidentals charge added onto reservation, which is returned if there are no incidental items purchased
The entrance is clean, spacious, with a good size reservation desk .
Very large seating area for family or other party members to sit while taking care of reservations or meeting for dinner. The reservation desk area is open with floor to ceiling window wall full length of the back side of the hotel. Fountain view as well as UNF hospital and medical buildings.
The hotel restaurant is just beyond reservation desk on the right.
Restaurant has full bar with inside and outside patio seating.
The elevators x 2 are on the right after the restaurant.
There is another sitting area on the left near the elevators, as well as a sm snack drink vending area, which has a bank machine.
Elevators are spacious and clean. A safety feature on elevator operation is in use.
You must swipe room access card for operation.
The hallways are white, well lighted, carpets clean, no odors to note.
Ice machines are near elevators. There are snack vending machines in the ice machine cubby.
The room was spotless and spacious.
To note, when entering, it is best to flip "master switch " by the door. It turns on all the other lighting switches in the room.
Ask for floor to ceiling window view when making reservations.
The hotel clerk gave us a late checkout as requested until 1 pm.
We were there for an 8am medical procedure.
The UNF facility is in view of the hotel, and there is a shuttle if needed.
The VA facility is next to the UNF facility, but there is no shuttle.
The surrounding area, 1-3 miles has unlimited shopping and dining options
The extra cost in reservation compared to surrounding hotels is well worth the cleanliness, quiet and location to medical facilities and downtown as well.
Other hotels are likely to disappoint.
ELEO will not disappoint.
