I was suggested to go here from a friend, and I am more than pleased!
Chris did my exhaust work and did a beautiful job. Excellent qaulity of work & reasonable prices. Also Tiffany at the front is very friendly and helpful. Had a great experience with them the first time and 100% will be returning. Thank you!

Highly unprofessional and disrespectful when an appointment for work is made a week and a half out (10 days), because the shop is so busy, only to have your car never get the agreed on work done on the appointed day because of the shop's poor time management, internal communication, and ignorance on how to do the work (that was also talked about more weeks prior to making the appointment). In short, there's no excuse for not having someone available to do the work required as agreed.
It's also highly unprofessional and disrespectful to only tell the customer that after his car has been there all day (after being placed in the night drop) because no one bothered to notice or to make contact about those problems until after the car had been there for 7+ hours and the customer calls to ask what's going on.
Nothing was done or offered to correct for what occurred (other than blaming the education of the technicians available before blaming your own as well, even though such an impression was never given at any point in the process before). Playing "green horn" is an old tactic that gets used too often when people don't want to take responsibility by doing something to fix a problem and make it right. An apology is great but it's only truly professional when it's backed up by a meaningful correction.
Holton has one of the highest labor rates ($148.50) outside of the dealerships, and one of the lowest labor warranties (90 days) that anyone offers. They should be willing and able to do much better than that, and to make it right when they don't!

Heard good things about them so I brought my Tahoe in for intermediate hard starts. They suggested fixing some unrelated problem that cost me $700. Still have the same problem but now with $700 less to fix it with. Owner is nice to you until you have to bring your car back because of subpar service they performed. After his condescending attitude when I called back I just decided to go somewhere else. I should have listened to my wife when she was concerned about the amount of old dead cars piled up around their shop

They were highly recommended to me and met all my expectations.From getting my appointment to my car ready,the service interaction with them was 5-star.They treated you as being special and a friend of the family.They were ready fo me and finished with my car when promised.The work on my car was fabulous and it ran better than it had for years.They even found a problem and fixed it for less money because they already had the engine apart.Again,all aspects of their service was 5-star and that's rare these days. My husband and I have used Holton Automotive for many years, and they are the best in Gainesville for car upkeep and repairs. Over the last decade or so, they have worked on our cars, the oldest being my 2007 Mustang, and the most recent being my 2019 Lexus. They are fast, thorough, dependable, very nice, helpful, likable and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them. I assure you that you won’t be disappointed.
