Hector is amazing! I cannot recommend him and his business enough. He took the time to help me to figure out exactly what I wanted for my unique framing job. Once the vision was created. The finished product was better than I had envisioned. He didn't give me an exact date on when I could expect it to be completed only an estimate because he had to wait on materials to be shipped to him but it was completed before the estimated time frame. If you are looking for custom frame work please don't waste your time with any chain stores or even other local businesses, there is only one place in Gainesville to go to - HECTOR! Thank you again for your amazing work it will be cherished for years to come!

I highly recommend Hector’s. The quality of the framing is exceptional. Hector has an amazing artistic eye with top notch suggestions and guidance for a frame that perfectly fits our space. He also helped us find a local artist’s painting based on a picture of the space I showed him. I will certainly go back when I have anything that needs framing! You won’t be disappointed

Hector is simply a master of his craft. He brings an artist's eye to each project, suggesting frames that complement both the work and each client's personal style. I honestly didn't realize the difference frames could make until we started going to Hector--now, I won't even consider going anywhere else, and I have had him reframe pieces that weren't up to the same level.
I have brought him a range of projects--pieces needing restoration, 3D objects to frame, large pieces and small ones--and he has just done an amazing job every time. You cannot go wrong choosing Hector.

If you desire quality framing and professional care for your art, Hector's is the best place in Gainesville. We had a fire 16 months ago and needed a couple of pieces with new glass, new mat and new backing, and also a print I was able to repurchase needed to be completely framed. They all turned out better than expected. Hector has the ability to find mats and frames that pull out the color in a picture or in other ways enhance its beauty. The quality of the frame, glass and mat will ensure that the picture will be protected and maintain its beauty. While the cost is not cheap, it is because you pay for quality and professional care. We highly recommend Hector for your framing needs.

I am in the process of preparing an exhibition of photographs from my photo book entitled Shadows of Emmett Till. After selecting twenty images for my first exhibition, I went to talk with Hector about options. Hector is a photographer by training and has been in the framing business for many years.During our initial discussion, he provided great insight into all things framing including the difference in using plexiglass versus glass, options with mats, should the mat be cut before or after the images are in his hands, the advantages, and disadvantages of various types of frames, and why it is important to have the back of the framed images sealed.He encouraged me to make decisions that would fit best for my exhibition, all the while helping me understand the impact of those decisions in the short and long term. Hector is professional, knowledgeable, and offers a wide variety of options for framing. I am very pleased with the work that he and Andrew (his assistant) did. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

My fiancé proposed to me with a ring made out of suture. We came to Hector hoping to have it framed in a way that would showcase its meaning. He took the time to sit down and discuss his ideas with us, had several meetings with us to show us the various pieces of the display, and constructed a beautiful shadow box that captured the moment of the proposal and all of the intricaces of the handmade ring. He clearly takes pride in his work and has a special talent for creating unique personalized pieces that produce the sentiment you want. We loved working with Hector and will absolutely be going back.
