This is a wonderful place to stay from the welcoming front desk staff to the hard work I witnessed the whole stay from the housekeeping and food hospitality staff. Very professional customer service. The only complaint i have is our microwave in our room was on the verge of breaking it made such loud noises when we used it. I told the front staff about it and he said he would have maintenance come swap out the microwave and they never came. Other than that
nothing but positive experiences. Great breakfast. Clean throughout. Coffee & hot cocoa packets available 24/7. Zero chemical Eco friendly products in pump dispensers in room for soap, shampoo, lotion, shower gel etc.
Nearby activities: Just half mile from stores and restaurants. Publix, target, mcdonalds, first watch, chic-fil-a, Bath & Body, several gas stations etc.

The rooms are clean, newly renovated, friendly staff and great breakfast. Perfect area located near Walmart and anything else you could possibly need. We had to book a last minute trip due to a Hurricane at home and they were very accommodating and kind. 100% recommended
Safety: Great area. Did not feel unsafe at any point

The room I was in had an old Amana air conditioner that sounded like airliine jets taking off of a runway. No sleep all nite long.
Breakfast was the worst at any hotel ever stayed at. Much of it was unedible. My dog would not have eaten the chicken sausages provided.

Nice room, pleasant experience. Tre’von at the front desk was very friendly & helpful. The hotel provided homemade cookies on a Saturday night. Tre’von saved us some as we were away for a concert & didn’t return until late. How cool is that?! Homemade cookies waiting for you in the lobby after a Saturday night concert?!?

Pulled up to check in and there were homeless people laying around the parking lot and some other questionable looking people. Felt very uncomfortable before we even walked in the door. Thought maybe it was just a fluke, but took a drive up the road and saw plenty more. Ended up not even staying here as it was just very uncomfortable with the sourndings, and not the standard I expect from a hilton.

For a Hilton hotel, this was the most disappointing stay I have ever ever had. My room was partially clean, but there was a dirty towel from the last people behind the chair. Room service did not clean my room during my stay or very well after the last person stay . You have to pay for breakfast and it’s nasty. You have to pay for your coffee. And you have to pay to use the Wi-Fi. The room was not worth the $150 price and now I see they have marked it up. The Hilton will now be my last choice. I would never choose this hotel first after the experience.

In from NY to check my daughter into UF. Place was perfect. Clean and staff was excellent. I'll be back here when I come to visit her. I've checked into so many places while preparing for her college but I finally feel comfortable staying here. Place was great. Close to everything too!!

Only down.side was they allow dogs and someone next to the elevator had 3 that barked every time someone used the elevator
Food and drinks: Nice breakfast buffet with variety of choices. Menu was different next day. Everything fresh and well prepared

Rooms are clean and nice. Check in is always late like the rooms are never ready at check in time. Digital key constantly does not work. Staff have no regard for how check ins always get pushed back. Some staff are always in a bad mood. Always over priced during football season or any event.

The customer service at the Hampton Inn in Gainesville was exceptional! We were greeted with a smile and kindness every time we entered the lobby. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They even made cookies because we didn't get them one night. I will definitely stay here again.

Hampton Inn Gainesville exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. The housekeeping staff thought of everything. Nothing was missing or left undone. Special thanks to my housekeeper, Rose.
Breakfast was abundant and delicious. They had scrambled eggs AND omelets AND hard-boiled eggs, plus sliced mango. There were about twice as many choices as I'm used to seeing at a typical Hampton Inn. I'm grateful to Alejandra, who prepared and served breakfast.
Special thanks to the front desk, including the woman who checked me in (I did not get her name) and Tre'von, who bid me farewell and wished me a safe trip home.
