The Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville-Downtown is a good hotel in a great, beautiful, and lively location in the heart of the city. It is within easy walking distance to great food, drink, coffee, entertainment, a museum, and the largest park. The hotel itself is overall very nice and clean, with a decorated lobby and a quaint pool. Guests note the pleasant atmosphere and consistently highlight the truly exceptional, friendly, and amazing service from the staff, who go above and beyond. The breakfast buffet is awesome with great hours, and the coffee in the lobby is much appreciated. The rooms are as expected for a Hilton. It is a recommended stay for visiting Gainesville.
Hotel was clean. Staff members were friendly. Breakfast buffet was good. They had coffee in the lobby also. That was much appreciated, because we were so cold when we arrived. The hot drink was nice! We had dinner at a burger place (Relish) that was about a two minute walk from the hotel. It was good also!

The room and hotel is overall very nice. The lobby is decorated and we were treated amazingly by Carlos!! Would recommend!
