“Working with Mike this last year has significantly improved my health and quality of life. Chronic pain I once suffered from is gone and I feel stronger than ever. So grateful to have a space that is focused on long term health goals and safety.”

They have several classes to choose from as well as personal training! Go meet the owners Dan and Art and i promise you one thing, you’ll be impressed!”

3205 Clark Butler Blvd #20, Gainesville“My wife and I decided to try a class today. We came in and was instantly welcomed which is not like other gyms we have attended. Coach Kevin came out and met us. We had some first class jitters but he gave us a rundown and class began. We worked out harder than ever and felt great after. Coach Kevin kept the momentive going throughout the hour and time seemed to fly by. I really felt good about the exercises due to good explanation and constant interaction between the coach and each person in the class. We were treated Ike family from when we walked in until we left. If you are on the fence, go to this Orange theory, they really know how to treat people. Tha kbyouball for a great experience, we will be back.”

1126 NW 2nd St, Gainesville“Before I joined LIV I was running. It was not enough. My wife has been going to LIV for several years and she looks and feels great! Now I have great workouts and even lost fat and gained muscle in my first 12 weeks. I feel great and love the workouts. The coaches are amazing and walk you through the moves, giving tips along the way. LIV has a friendly and welcoming vibe; everyone I workout with is great! If you want a well balanced and challenging workout LIV is the gym for you!”

4650 NW 39th Pl suite a, Gainesville“I was in a rut with ACL reconstruction recovery and traveling, away from my usual physical therapist. Dr. Peck saw me within my short window of visiting the area and did a full assessment, and then Megan saw me twice more. Their direction may have saved me from walking forever with a limp, seriously. They listened, prescribed personalized exercises, and answered all my many questions with patience and professionalism. These folks know what they’re doing, and they present a flexible schedule that made all the difference to me. Thank you so much!”
“I started with Peak 5 years ago and they have definitely improved my strength, fitness, and helped maintain my health. At 75 yrs old, they are definitely helping to keep the “old man” out. So grateful to have them in my life??‼️❤️”

3606 SW 34th St, Gainesville“I enjoy coming to the gym. It's like getting to visit family and friends, while also getting in some exercise aka necessary stress relief. This gym has been beneficial to my physical and mental health. The coaches are welcoming and they answer ALL my many questions and entertain my amazing jokes! I love it!”
“The best. Highly trained and passionate about what he does. Andrew is kind, asks questions and listens to tailor a program that is specific for you. My husband has suffered with back pain for the past 5 years and tried multiple programs with no relief. After the first couple of sessions with Andrew, he has experienced dramatic improvement. Andrew is a blessing!”
“Great place to improve young athlete's running skill, stamina and explosive force. Daniel is a great personal trainer. His training program tailored well for my son. After a year training, he become must faster and stronger and perform much better in soccer match. Highly recommended.”
“12/2024 Updated Review:
My bestie joined Crunch in August and kept at me to join. She knew about my previous experience and I was hesitant to join again. But I did! My husband joined me as well. They do offer free guest pass with the highest membership, but we chose to each get one so we could come separately if we wanted to and to enjoy the amenities.
We genuinely look forward to coming to Crunch 3-4x a week. Staff is great. The trainers are fab(We love Cam!). My husband did training for a few months, and while it wasn’t for him, he enjoyed the trainer.
We go during peak hours because that’s what works for us, but the wait for things isn’t too bad. It’s usually leg machines that have a wait and we just adjust our workout. I do wish there were more cable attachments AND some exercise bands, but we just bought our own (like $40 for both)
The classes are fun when I can make one! Chad is the best!
It was worth joining again!
03/2020 review: I decided to cancel my membership due to Covid as soon as it start to spread. I have asthma, Covid isn’t something I’m willing to take a chance on. Unfortunately, they were closed for quite awhile so that was impossible to do. I was finally able to drop off a notarized letter May 27. I expected I would be good to go, given I never actually received the free month I signed up for (dishonest gym). I received an email today, September 2, 2020, indicating I owe $116.85 and threatening to send me to collections. They say they called but I haven’t received a single call or letter indicating I owe anything. I immediately sent an email (I don’t do phone calls, I want proof of ALL conversations) informing them that I had cancelled and they shouldn’t be charging me. I received a message back from the GM, Joshua, indicating that my contract stated that I had to give 30 days notice (It does, I don’t deny that) and it JUST so happened, that the yearly maintenance fee came out during that time. So instead of paying the $30, I am expected to pay $116 (times 2 because my boyfriend cancelled his) for a membership I never even utilized. I did not use the facility even ONCE due to Covid because of the major delays on opening. It’s disgusting that a business is taking advantage of people affected by COVID, who cancelled as soon as it was possible. Shame on you Crunch. Rest assured, I will be sure others don’t choose your gym above the other options in town. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first negative encounter with this location I’ve heard about. Seems to be an ongoing issue. I was hopeful to return once Covid gets under control, however, I’ll choose elsewhere.”

2005 NW 43rd St, Gainesville“I like that it's a great mix of everything and that it varies from day to day. But my favorite thing is that it doesn't add to my mental load to get a good workout...I just have to show up! This was especially important to me after having a baby. I wanted to get back into more of a fitness routine and especially get back into running like I used to, but I had a lot on my plate and was having a hard time getting the motivation and finding the mental energy to do so. Orangetheory provides a dedicated space for exercise, forces me to weigh lift, which I probably wouldn't otherwise do, and requires zero extra mental load on me. It's absolutely wonderful!”

7070 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville“Six months and still pushing it. Looking forward to achieving my overall goal. Definitely stronger and starting to see my biceps again. Thanks everyone! I couldn’t do without the Anytime Fitness team. A shout out to the 630 morning group. You’re awesome!”
8AM - 7PM
Stadium Rd, Gainesville“Florida Gymnasium was a vaunted SEC basketball pit. Nicknamed "Alligator Alley" at the time, the facility had no air conditioning and fans were very close to the action. Florida Gym is now used by the university as a recreation facility. Perhaps its best attribute is having a permanent wood floor.”
“But this pool! What a pleasure it is to find a space where there aren’t 4579941 people vying for room to get on the weight machines, swim in the pool or play tennis/pickle ball! Inside Hawkstone Country Club’s Fitness Center you’ll find a relatively small gym, but more than big enough to get a good workout. There are 2 incline step machines and several treadmills as well as free weights and your basic circuit. The immaculate pool is a sparkling blue ranging from 3 feet to 8 feet deep, and it’s long and wide enough to swim laps without bumping heads with the guy next to you. The entire patio is situated under truly lovely oak trees that offer lots of privacy and a bit of shade. I took a 10 year old guest and the other folks at the pool were very accommodating and friendly.Bottom line? If you’re a member of Hawkstone Country Club you’re missing out if your not using the Fitness Center.”
“The facility is really nice but the WiFi is painfully slow, both on my laptop and phone. I try to get work done during my daughter’s volleyball practice and it’s usually a waste of my time. With how new and beautiful the building is, I’m surprised at how terrible the WiFi is.”
“Nice gym and friendly staff.. I must say it’s frustrating that you aren’t allowed to have your gym backpack.. for serious lifters it’s a big inconvenience. They want you to run back-and-forth to the locker room to get what you need from your bag. This isnt kindergarten we should be allowed to have our bag with us. I would also love to see them upgrade their water fountain. It’s the old school type you had in elementary school. But I will say all of the staff have been really nice.”
5AM - 11PM
2210 NW 13th St, Gainesville“I like this place but wish there was a bigger variety of equipment instead of multiple of duplicate machines. I’ve been to other PF places that have a great selection!”
“The staff really makes this place great. They have a good selection of machines and a huge list of free classes to choose from that are included in your membership! You are guaranteed to find something for everyone. All the exercise equipment works great but most of the machines are clearly not new models. It is great that they have a pool/spa/sauna/steam room facility as I use it every time I visit. My one critique is that they could be a little more diligent about cleaning the showers and pool area. There is visible mold growth in the grout in the men's showers. It is not an enormous infestation by any means but it is definitely visible. The edge of the pool also appears to have some discoloration from organic growth. Prices do seem a little steep but they are the only gym that offers these services in the area so they really don't have much competition.Other than those minor details, this is my favorite gym I have been a member of here in Gainesville. I visit 3-5 times per week and always look forward to my time there. I have never had a negative interaction with the staff, they have all been fantastic.”
“As a never before heavy weight lifter who was always daunted by the equipment and afraid of hurting myself, this is an amazing place to learn. Great value if you consider the potential for 1 on 1 instruction, never had a time I couldn't get help or feedback on form from a staff member. As a HIIT lover, the conditioning classes were my favorite part ?”
