If you expect competence, reliability, or even basic courtesy from your moving company, avoid Gator Moving at all costs. My experience was a disaster. On a sunny Friday, I had a move scheduled for 11 AM, which I confirmed earlier that day. It seemed straightforward enough—simply transferring my belongings from one apartment to another. But Gator Moving failed spectacularly. After waiting for over an hour and getting no response to multiple calls, I ended up hauling my extensive belongings myself, thanks to being an out-of-state resident with more than the usual load. By 1:15 PM, I finished the job alone. The audacity peaked when Gator Moving had the gall to call at 1:30 PM—hopelessly late—to say they were finally ready to help. Needless to say, I sent them packing; there was nothing left for them to do. Their abysmal lack of communication and complete disregard for my time not only skyrocketed my stress levels but also cost me my flight home. Trusting Gator Moving to simplify your move is a prime example of misplaced faith—they’ll ensure your moving day is an absolute disaster.

If I could give Gerold Pitts and his amazing team a million starts I would. My elderly mother got scammed so at the last minute I found Gator moving & storage and I honestly feel was God that put such honest, professional and caring people in our path I am in Texas the communication on all the process has been the best I have ever experienced. Not only they are affordable you can trust them! they are truthfully the best company to handle your next move you will not be disappointed!!!! Thank you again for taking such good care of my mom Nick and Terrel!!! And of course Gerold!!!!

Gator Moving and Storage are amazing!!! I'm seriously impressed with their professionalism, communication, and ability at every step of the moving process. We would like to personally thank Gerold for his outstanding work. His knowledge of moving made getting our massive amount of things from one place to the next incredible. Skillful, fast, and efficient. Honestly, what Gerold and his team did was a miracle. They stayed late to finish the job and I was very impressed. The guys were super friendly, personable, and overall just fantastic. I highly recommend them for the job and will be using them again on another project I have. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Please use them for you job.

Gerold at Gator Moving and Storage is the best mover I've ever worked with. He went the extra mile making several round trips to get all our stuff and carried it up several flights of stairs. Gerold's communication was amazing all along the way, he was punctual, and is just a really nice guy. Here's the special part though - we had recently experienced the death of one of my parents and I needed to quickly find a home for their belongings. Gerold showed up the same day with his team, carefully took apart several delicate pieces of antique furniture, wrapped them safely, and transported them to their storage facility the same day at no extra charge. Their prices are the best I've seen in town for both moving and storage. I highly recommend Gator Moving and Storage. Ask for Gerold, he will take incredible care of you.

The guys came to get some things on behalf of Haven Hospice. They were quick and courteous. I thought it was unprofessional to outright ask for a tip though.

Andre and Cenny were great and were extremely careful about protecting the furniture and were great workers. The. Company is wonderful to work with and they stand behind their promises. I would use them or recommend them to anyone. Great experience.

I want to recognized this company for their professionalism, promptness and, most of all, kindness. When my mom passed, they worked with Haven Hospice to clear out her room and even helped us haul trash to the dumpster, something they didn't have to do. They helped me at a tremendously difficult time.

My husband and I (an elderly couple) had a terrible experience with Gator Movers. They were unprofessional, disrespectful and broke things including an old ceramic family lamp and a castor leg on a dining room chair). When I asked them to fix the chair, the mover told me to go to Home Depot myself to get the caster and to fix the chair myself. Months later, when I spoke with John, the owner, he told me that they wouldn’t fix the chair and when I asked him why he said, “I don’t want to!”
They also placed a heavy rug in a bedroom in a way that the door would not close. When I asked them to move it over, the mover said “I am not an interior designer.”
I highly recommend that you use a different mover, unless you want to hear, “I don’t want to!”
