My recent visit to Dollar General was nothing short of a nightmare. The store was incredibly disorganized, resembling more of a ransacked mess than a place of business. The overpowering smell of weed permeated the entire store, and it was evident that the staff were under the influence, with all the cashiers appearing high. To top it off, when I requested to use the restroom for my son, I was told it was "broken." However, it's painfully obvious that the real reason was to conceal the fact that employees were using it as a smoking spot. This experience was absolutely horrifying and has left me with no desire to ever set foot in that store again.

They steal your money! Do not shop here, they are thieves. I returned an item, was actually charged again on my card, then corporate does NOTHING about it. They have almost $20 of my money for an item I do not even possess!!

Annoying place. Always some issue. Today they aren’t even open at 8am like the sign says. Store is dark, no employees in sight. Really irritating when you already waited ten minutes in the parking lot for them to open. I just wanted to get my cheap cat food and go home.

This store here you really have to pay attention !!!!!To your receipt and how much change you get back. I been over charged and short changed several times . Today9/6/2023 the young lady didn’t speak acted like she really didn’t want to be there, and short change me I didn’t notice until I got home to take the change out of my purse to put into my change jar. Clearly there’s a problem. I won’t get over charged or short change again if I have to stand there and look at everything on my receipt. And hold up the line ridiculous

5:51PM was turned away at the door with what appeared to be a homeless person, holding the automated door closed with their bare hands while I can clearly see other customers in the store. This is unacceptable, hire adequate staff.

Gerhard and Andre were fantastic! I was making a basket for my sick friend and they help me find every item. Customer service like this is truly hard to find. They really looked out for me. Love my local DG?

Employees are friendly, I'll give them that.But they are very overworked, products run out fast and half the time registers only take cash. Kind of defeats the purpose of going here and paying more than at Wal Mart.

How is even LEGAL? Where I come from, if you have a price on a shelf and the item rings up a different price, that is "false advertising" and quite illegal. For some reason, a $4.35 bag of fries rang up as $5.75, a $1.00 item came out to be $2.00....the list goes on. Please do not shop here if you value your hard-earned money. I will be contacting the appropriate persons in order to get this store "straight." Convenience does not cost this much - this is flat out robbery!!
