Jill and her team have been kind, accommodating, communicative, and compassionate for the last two years we have boarded our golden retriever here in Gainesville. Their prices are incredibly fair and Jill constantly works with our spontaneous requested for overnight boarding. Ody always comes home tired and happy after playing and swimming to his heart’s content. Jill responds to texts and questions quickly and keeps Facebook up to date with how the dogs are doing. Ody is an energetic fella and we are so thankful for this safe environment for him when we travel. We highly recommend Dog’s Rule!

In all honesty- I haven’t been here yet. But I have an older Pomeranian and a very busy schedule. The Pomeranian got out during the rain and got all yucky. We have bathed him- but noticed he needs a haircut badly. With all the groomers in town quoting 3-4 weeks out- I was given a next day appointment here after giving vax records. Will update after my visit but so far I’m very thankful and impressed that they can accommodate in such a short time!

My dog was happy staying there, and she was well cared for. Bella stayed for 7 days and she had a fantastic time. She made many friends and she looks forward to going back for my future trips.

Complete disappointment! We boarded our dogs for a weekend trip for four days. My wife did all the communicating with the facility prior to us bringing the dogs and there were no issues. When I dropped my dogs off, the person was rude. My wife went to pick up our dogs along with our daughter and my dogs were disgusting. The feet and chest of one of my dogs were completely wet. Both of my dogs smelled like the worse amount of pee in the world. My dogs came back extremely timid, scared, did not bark (which is strange) for them, and did not eat. My daughter is completely traumatized that her “babies” came home and were obviously mistreated. I would not recommend this place to my enemy. And also, false advertisement as well. My wife was told it would be $20 per day per dog. When she went to pay, she was told the system was “down” and had to pay on a different website. We were overcharge and paid $25 per dog. Complete rip off. It is extremely concerning when you arrive, the dogs are basically pushed out of the door and you can’t go into the facility to see the conditions. I’m extremely concerned about how my dogs were treated here. Beware of this place!!

I NEVER write reviews but this is NOT OKAY!! I picked my dog up and noticed her feet and chest were wet and thought she had just gotten a bath but when I got in the car my seats were immediately dirty and I could smell the strong odor of urine coming from her. That's when I realized she was covered in pee. Come to find out the dog in the kennel next to her had been peeing on her all weekend and she was never given a bath nor was she given new bedding so my dog was neglected and this is absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking to find out. I was told they were very busy and I could come back for a complimentary bath. I'm appalled and I feel horrible that my dog had to sit for 2 days in urine. Will never be going back here or recommending it to anyone.

Hi my name is Brandon Lacey and I am a Teacher at A.Q. Jones school.By my schedule been very busy with field trips and after school programs my extended family is at home waiting on me.My Yorkies dogs Royce and Tiger that I love so much and they love and attention so heard some of the stuff I work with they said take your dogs to dogsrule they will give them full service and love and care.I went to dogsrule it was amazing the staff was very passionate of caring for all dogs and my two dogs connected with them right away.So now I drop Royce and Tiger off before I go to work and pick them up right after work and when Royce and Tiger are at dogsrule they are so happy.Thank all of the staff at dogsrule for taking care of my extended family.

Dog's Rule is a wonderful, safe place for your pup to board or go to for doggy daycare! Older reviews do not reflect how it is currently! The pups at Dog's Rule are so happy and enriched there by an amazing, knowledgeable staff! Give them a try and see for yourself!! I'm glad I found Dog's Rule!!

I had a last minute event at my home so, I called a few animal boarding facilities I came across Dog's Rule where I spoke with Jill, she was very accommodating to me & my ? Chacho on short notice. We even received a dog rescue discount for his stay while making my payment online. I was happy with the service and will use again. Thank You Jill and Staff!!! I highly recommend Dog's Rule..

If you’d like to have your pet and property returned to you in the same condition you’d left it, pick a different kennel. By far the worst kennel experience in 50 years.Technology from the 90’s along with a “show-us-your-receipt” to retrieve your dog?!?! Then, no one actually looked! Ordered a bath upon pick up that never happened.My dog was covered in feces as was his bed. C’mon Gainesville seriously? Surely you can do much better.

I highly recommend Dogs Rule!! Jill and her staff are experts when it comes to dogs and their behaviors, and is the only doggie daycare in Gainesville, Florida that is able to provide safe transportation for those clients that work!! My dog just started going and absolutely cannot wait to board the bus with Miss. Sharon in the morning, and comes home in the evening happy and tired!! Dogs Rule has many different large areas for the dogs to play all day, both inside (air conditioned) and outside (very shady)! They also provide boarding, where your dog isn’t stuck in a cage all day, but instead gets to play with all the other dogs all day!! The staff is so knowledgeable and truly loves dogs, and not only supervises the different dog groups, but also plays and enriches these pups lives! I’m so happy to have found Dogs Rule Doggie Daycare and boarding and recommend you give them a try!! Your dog will thank you!! :)

The staff at Dogs Rule are amazing!!! I took my dog Po there for 3 weeks while we were on vacation and he had an amazing time. I was worried about leaving him for so long because he had never been away from us since we rescued him. I could tell he had a great time when we went to pick him up, he ran back in and wanted to stay at Dogs Rule!! He was able to make lots of friends, people and dogs. He got to swim and play and wasn’t left in a cage the whole time. He was well cared for, and I will only use them in the future. They really care about the animals they are watching and they are very affordable. Thanks Dogs Rule! You guys are Pawsome!! ❤️?❤️ ?

If I could give Dogs Rule more than five stars I would! I was nervous letting my baby go to daycare everyday to a place I’ve never been, but they are amazing! Jill and all the workers are so nice and truly care for my girl. They watch Zuri and send pictures of her fun days at daycare! Love this place!

In addition to Dog's Rule Daycare and Boarding, Jill Davis is also the founder of AHHHHA (Animals Helping Humans Humans Helping Animals), so this review is for both services. I had an absolutely amazing adoption experience. AHHHHA offers an incredible adoption package that includes one year of free daycare, training, boarding at Dog's Rule Daycare and Boarding, and it also covers the spay/neuter cost. It has been a pleasure to work with Jill, the CEO of Dog's Rule and founder of AHHHHA, who was attentive to my communication during the adoption process, Sharon, who fostered my puppy with so much love and also offers pick up/drop off transportation to day care and works at the day care, along with everyone who helps at AHHHHA adoption events and with Dog's Rule dog care. I am currently training my puppy through Jill's training class and she is experienced and knowledgeable with everything dog-related! I am so impressed with this non-profit organization's contributions to the Gainesville community and can't wait to recommend them to any pet-owner I know! I am so glad we have AHHHHA and Dogs Rule in Gainesville!
