Years ago, the DMV was a scary, frustratingly long experience. However, now it's a lot less stressful. Employees are friendly, helpful, and don't make you feel guilty or shame you for not renewing your registration on time. Wait times are minimal, and appointments are easy to make.

There are more people working behind the counters than customers and still longer than an hour wait. Fine example of bloated government agencies. 12 people waiting for service, more than 30 behind the counters. This is why our taxes are so High!

Excellent compared to the DMVs we had in Illinois. Very fast, tickets are called minutes after arriving, and you’re out in less than an hour in most cases. Friendly staff.

From Ohio and bought a car in Gainesville, this was the most polite, clean, comfortable, and welcoming DMV I have ever been to! It puts the one in our home town to shame. Quick service. Everyone was so kind, I was just waiting while my husband dealt with the paper work and staff checked on me to make sure I wasn't waiting and if I needed anything. Great experience

Their professional employees and the efficiency at the DMV was a surprise to me as well as a ridiculous fee to have a car title reprinted. I like that the employees are very nice but some of the fees for things needs to be addressed. The fees are not fair or practical. The fees are outrageous. But...the workers are very nice and professional. The employees deserve kudos.
