I lived in Cricket Club 2 for 3 years. When moving to the area, cost was a major factor in my decision making. When I moved in, the carpet was stained, the walls were scuffed, and the cabinets had a fair amount of cosmetic damage. This was not a huge issue to me at the time. I contacted the leasing manager and informed them of everything. I was assured that all of that information would be put in my file so that I wouldn’t be charged in the future. As time progressed the apartment and community began to deteriorate rapidly. Here are a few things that happened within my last 9 months at Cricket Club 2.The entirety of the complex was blockaded due to a local “block party” that spontaneously formed. None of these people even lived in the complex. They just liked the big parking lot. This was shut down by the sheriffs but not before the partygoers tore through the parking lot destroying whatever was in their way.Homeless people consistently raid the dumpsters by buildings, and local youths consistently destroy property in the area on their way home. Entire buildings began to smell like marijuana, along with abandoned children roaming the property asking strangers when their mother was going to come home.Despite contact with the leasing office, nothing was done to resolve any of these issues.6 months after leaving, I received a random call from a debt collector saying I owed a significant sum to Cricket Club 2. I had received no contact from them since leaving but was turned over to debt collection. All of the damaged things that were in the apartment when I moved in that I mentioned earlier. Yeah, I got billed for those. The water that was used weeks after my lease was up and I had already relocated. They tried to charge me for that too. They also tried to charge me for appliances that were incorrectly installed by their maintenance team.At the end of the day. My experience did not sour until the end of my time there. An underlying issue is that the office staff is completely changed every couple of months. This led to a drop in quality and lack of consistency. The price point of this complex is attractive, especially for the area. I hope things get better here soon, but on the current trajectory, it is not a safe place to raise a family.

My husband and I moved from Washington state to Gainesville. The Leasing Manager Keanna has made the entire process a breeze. Everything from getting approved for an apartment to move in day was simple. The apartment looks great. It looks just like the virtual tour. The only issue is the washer is not working. However, I put in a maintenance request and am hopeful it will get fixed soon. I’ll update this review with maintenance response time soon!Update: Maintenance is super quick to respond compared to other apartments I've lived in.

I moved here without seeing it in-person. The overall leasing effort was minimal. Everyone was accommodating and transparent. No parking issues and gym was good enough. The community was quiet and close to the highway so the location was perfect. They regularly do the pest inspection and never ran into any bug issues.Keanna (leasing manager) was extremely accommodating and helpful from the beginning to the end. If I have to live in Gainesville, I’d consider this place again. Thank you!

Beware if property management who also owns 51% of the property. Extremely difficult to get things done. So, maintenance is suffering. Tough parking. Pool unclean. Noise galore. Unsanitary gym. What else is there one can actually like about this place? Close to I-75 but that may be a nuisance to others due to traffic noise.Strangely, Bosshardt Property Management Provided their respond on 7/21/2023! A long time after my posting. Shamefully, they stated that I may have mistakenly confuse the property with Cricket Club I since they are managing II.Well, Bosshardt Property management used to managed Cricket Club 1 until they got fired. They owned and managed 1 and 2 at the same time. Due to their fiscal embezzlement and mismanagement, they were fired by the residence. My assessment was based on the condition at the time of their management. So, Bosshardt, please don't deny the facts. Bosshardt owns many unit is both 1 and 2, but, since they were fired from 1, Bosshardt is selling off their units at cricket club 1.Please do your research before you move into any property manager or owned by Bosshardt.

DO NOT MOVE HERE.The management office alone is worth avoiding. Typical of every Bosshardt complex, the staff is rude, unprofessional, and flighty at best. Every part of moving in and out of this place was absolute hell. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

My husband and I lived here and had an absolutely terrible experience moving out. I have lived in SEVERAL apartments and have never had an issue receiving my security deposit back. We moved out and deep cleaned our apartment, paid for professional carpet cleaning, followed every procedure on the move out list and moved out of our apartment leaving it cleaned with no damages. We got a letter in the mail weeks later claiming hundreds of dollars in move out charges. Charging us for a full cleaning fee, hourly rates for moving out “our belongings” we left behind, a “late” move out fee since they had to supposedly clean our apartment. Totaling over $500 in fines, resulting in no return of our security deposit and claiming we owed extra money on top of that. We attempted to talk to management but they requested we put everything in writing and claimed they had photos to prove their charges. We wrote a long, detailed email disputing every single charge on their documents and sent it to the general manager, glenette maxwell, like we were instructed. After a month of no reply we followed up once again emailing Glenette. Still no reply after weeks so I called her direct office and received her voicemail. I left a message and have still not received a call back and this was over a month ago. We moved out 6 months ago and have still not received a reply from anyone or our money back. I would absolutely not recommend living here and if you do, video tape EVERYTHING upon your move out so you don’t get stolen from like I believe my husband and I did.

I have shared my experience before under my married name, Michelle Sabino, so see my first review to read the experience we had following our move out of Cricket Club. I just wanted to update how our experience ended. Due to no replies from Glenette despite numerous phone calls and emails, my parents, the guarantors on our lease, came to Gainesville and went to their leasing office. The front desk woman attempted to tell us Glenette was out and could not speak to us. However, my mom, knowing what she looked like saw her standing right behind the woman and called her out. Only then would she speak to us about keeping our security deposit. We sat down and explained everything. Glenette claimed to have photos and evidence of my apartment that would prove why they charged us $580 in move out fees (still have never seen a single photo or proof of evidence). She said there was crumbs under my stove and one hand towel left in the dryer so that’s why they charged us a $250 cleaning fee and 2 hours of hourly wages for maintenance to “remove personal belongings.” She only agreed to give back a small amount of our deposit, claiming she couldn’t reimburse for the cleaning expenses since they already paid them. She agreed to giving some of our money back only if I deleted my one-star review. We agreed, once we received reimbursement, we would change and update our review. This was over 4 months ago. I’ve called and emailed numerous times with no reply. Our money is gone. This place will scam you. I have talked to several previous tenants and the same thing happened to them. So for anyone living there: RECORD YOUR ENTIRE APARTMENT UPON MOVE-OUT. Take photos proving you cleaned. Take photos proving nothing was broken or damaged and let them know ahead of time you are well aware of their scam to keep your deposit and that you have evidence ready to go against their claims. Don’t tell anyone you will move forward to small claims or Glenette will claim she “can’t respond once legal matters are threatened”, which is a complete lie but that’s her way to avoid facing tenants and save her reputation on peoples one star reviews. Protect yourself when moving out or just say goodbye to your security deposit. I really wanted to update my review to let people know we solved it cordially finally but sadly that wasn’t the case. Good luck to anyone living here and if you’re reading this considering living at Cricket Club, pick a different complex in Gainesville. There’s plenty to choose from that will save you the hassle and headache I went through.

I know several people who have had an awful experience here. Almost no communication - especially after move out when they withheld security deposit money with no evidence.I have had other people ask about this apartment complex - but I would not recommend, due to unprofessional management.

This place is a joke and are scammers along with all other apartment complexes, me and my girlfriend submitted an application for July 7th after 2 days of waiting they sent us an email stating we were “conditionally approved” because our guarantor didn’t get approved and “we don’t make the 3x the rent” upon finding this out we were really confused because we got an guarantor so that we didn’t have to pay the deposit. We should’ve gotten approved regardless because we met the “3x” the rent requirement when we emailed the property manager (Judy nickles) we hadn’t received an email back until 5 days later. After going back and forth with her for almost 4 days with her saying the same thing “you guys don’t meet 3x the rent requirement, ‘we don’t count tips as they can fluctuate’.” I said okay that’s fine I understand but we still meet the requirements. We broke everything down and did her job for her. Asked for HR’s number and I guess she finally actually did take a look and approved us after that. Move in was originally July 10th we submitted our application and it was then moved to august 10th. Coincidental? I think not. And wouldn’t refund us our money, stay away from here. They have zero hospitality, zero respect, discriminate, and just all around not good.

I have lived here 14 months. I love it here. Today my battery died in my parking spot. I called Keanna in the office and she said George was at lunch and she would tell him he back. George and Keanna showed up less than ten minutes later. He jumped my battery. They both smiled the whole time. Thank you both for coming to my rescue.

Complex is managed by Bosshardt, but you can lease an individual unit not manged/owned by them.
